"Manifest"
Credit to the clouds and cityscapes
belongs to Remedy (they were designed as the backdrops and skyboxes for "Max
Payne"). I layered them on top of each other and set the clouds between to
seem like both clouds to the bottom cityscape and water to the one directly
above. I also added some text to this before, but decided against placing
that one online for convenience's sake. |

"Bedtime Wonders"
While fiddling around with my newest
project (a small, cheesy little animation), I came upon an interesting
coloring technique which created very interesting silhouettes. Needless to
say, I found a desire to exploit it in all manners. This image, aside from
being used in this background, is also a part of an up and coming animation. |

"Ode to Aesir"
Anyone savvy with the world of Max
Payne would recognize this building. With a little digital cleansing,
anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing, it came out to be an interesting
background piece. |

"Snow-In"
This is a base view of the Aesir
building treated with wind and zoom blurs. Out of all the cityscapes from
Max Payne I've devised, this is probably my favorite. |
 |
|
"Fallen"
I accidentally came upon a fun
technique of developing feather-like objects and decided to use that method
to come up with this little piece. It's simple, dirty and appealing. |

"Prelude"
This is yet another silhouette-style
background with two anthro's faces coming incredibly close. The only
downside here is the melting of the noses together, which i had problems
trying to repair, and eventually gave up on. |

"Thought"
This can be recognized as being the
splash page's opener. A sheet of loose-leaf paper inverted in color with a
typewriter font gave this little piece an eerie aura. |

"Paper Flowers"
Listening to the Evanescence song
"Imaginary," I felt a need to create a somewhat associated background. This
was the product. It is merely a blend of two images coming standard with
Windows XP. |

|
"Ghetto"
The last Max Payne edit I'm willing to
post, this is appealing to me being that it almost looks real. |
 |
|
"I Love Sex"
For some odd reason, that quote is the
major feeling I get out of this, my favorite of the silhouette series. This
picture may be recognizable as being a sketch posted not all that long ago.
Without a doubt, this is my most prized background as of yet. |
