Fleeces

These are fleeces from the 2008 clip. They are RAW fleeces from non-coated sheep, lightly skirted to remove belly, britch (crotch) and grossly soiled areas. There will be a certain amount of dirt, as sheep like to lay down after eating, a little vegetable matter and perhaps a few pieces of straw. They DO wash VERY easily, and what little vegetable matter is in them combs or cards out without trouble.
EF Hollie 1; 75% Icelandic Aged ewe, silver grey to black
Soft medium grade with very defined tog. 5 inch staple length.

EF#2; Icelandic x Border Leicester ewe, Black shot
with silver, double coat, heavier tog with sunbleached
