Tournament #2 Matt report.Ok, this was a tournament where I can say my deck was ‘the worst its ever been’, just kidding, I just got NO Good hands. I did stay longer this time, just to see how the kids there play. If you ever R going to talk about this site in the Sports cards etc. we go to, and mention, ‘Josh’ or ‘matt’ made that site, you’ll be in trouble, big, trouble. I will no longer, keep the site talking about the store or how they duel, so HUSH< HUSH. (Last time I brought up the topic of someone writing about how they duel, I nearly lost my head >.<)
Well, I came to the tournament early, like I always do, ready to lose once again. My deck was as follows.
I run a BUDGET BEATDOWN, so no one make any assumptions I have good cards Plus I’m trying to remember this deck, so I’ll update this later with my real deck, or at least the one I had.

TOUNAMENT START
I first bought some card protectors, Took me forever to get all my cards in though. I went around watching little kids duel, (its always fun to see them play like they do J) When a guy I knew (I just call him Mr. Earth) came up and asked me to duel. I accepted.
Matt vs. Mr. earth
Let me give u some background on this guy he runs an earth deck, a PURE earth deck. He ran the rock spirit (not a great move, but it complements his deck) lots of earth 1700’s. And only one tribute in his deck, that being summoned skull, I don’t see why he put that in his earth deck, but never the less a good call.
Practice duel 1
This guy looks 14, but is 19, which was weird, cuz I usually don’t duel the older guys there. Well then. I know I came out in the beginning strong, mowing down his defenses, but damnit, the guy knows how to counter. He schooled me with I think a rare card (never caught the name) that was earth, and did major life point damage to me. I damaged him, but not in time before he change of hearted my harpies brother,countered my scapegoat, and won the duel.
Overall the score was

Practice duel 2
This was pretty much the same story as before, except that this one was shorter >.< I never got to summon much, because of his trap holes. I lost quick, but I found a really good combo that almost finished Mr. Earth off. Ok, I had a scapegoat. So did Mr./ Earth, and he played it. I had a cannon soldier on the field, flipped him to attack, used Just desserts (2000lp damage), and then tribute all 4 scapegoats and activated their affects. I then summoned harpies bor, If it wasn’t for his gosh darn trap hole I could have wone. (d’oh, should have played Mystical space typhoon)

k, Tournament Time. I go the chance to duel greg, an aqquintence. I knew this guy had a yata deck, so I pulled out my side deck for spirit decks.
TURNS OUT HE NEVER DREW YATA, HAD LOTS OF REMOVAL AND ONE BOTH DUELS EFFORTLESSLY.
Not much commentary needed on this one folks.
Turns out Josh lost as well, D’oh! Team scourge puts out a first round loss, embarrassing!
Josh lost to the Asian gang, figures huh,they are the best, or least the most intimitaditing
