Meteora DVD Info, Presale, and
'Somewhere I Belong' |
posted:

Here is
what will be on the DVD that you can get with the purchase of 'Meteora': This film is 33 minutes long and documents the creative process during the
months of December 2001 through the final days of recording the album. The film offers a
unique glimpse into the writing process during Linkin Park's 2002 tour, and it also
documents LP recording in the studio.
The DVD/CD also comes with a 40 PAGE art-filled booklet. The booklet includes artwork,
photographs, lyrics and more!
Go to www.linkinparkmerch.com to see the new 'Meteora' bundle they are
selling! It includes a shirt and the 'Meteora' CD/DVD.
The 30 second clip from the intro to LPTV is indeed
'Somewhere I Belong'. This is what the administrator from the Linkin Park.com website had
to say:
"I know how much you are looking forward to hearing
Somewhere I Belong. I just wanted to let you know, that we put out a snippet of the song
last week right here on LP.com without telling you guys.
If you go watch LPTV, you will notice a 30 second clip of music right after the spray
paint of LPTV comes up in the middle window. I guess you guys can figure out what this is
now.
The main reason I am having to ruin our secret is because of certain people on this board
who are causing a giant raucus over having a snippet of the track. You guys have had the
snippet all along, and this person is just full of hot air. Stay tuned to LP.com and LPU
for more suprises!!" |

LP to tour with Metallica and Limp Bizkit |
posted: 01-31-2003 |
In an
interview with Launch.com, DJ Joe Hahn told them that Linkin Park will be going on a
summer tour with Metallica and Limp Bizkit. Mr. Hahn said, "We're going to start off small, do some theater shows,
and then when Projekt Revolution rolls around, those are arena shows," He then said
that Linkin Park is going to team with some of rock's biggest hitters for a stadium tour.
"Once we hit the summer we're going to do a
stadium tour with Metallica and Limp Bizkit," Hahn said. "We're excited about
all those shows because there's different levels of intimacy. You know, the smaller ones
being more intimate, but when you get the bigger shows it gets crazier so, it's a
trade-off." |
