Description:
The Hephaestus is the latest in a long line of Foundry Ships. These vessels assist in setting up bases throughout the Imperium. A have 500dt (5MCr) of a manufacturing module that can produce anything from base infrastructure to fighters and starship parts. Use of the facility reduces the ship to Agility 0. A lab is available for studying product construction, Cargo is essentially one large 200dt bay, The vessel can also do final assemblies on its upper forward deck, The upper section is dedicated to the manufacturing process, 200dt of fuel are stored in multi-purpose tanks, 200dt of fuel are stored in collapsible tanks providing a additional cargo. The Captain has a .2dt storage locker in his office. It is not uncommon to see a mineral ship, and electronics ship with the foundry ship.
