Ursa Monk

Prestige Class

Many Ursa’s begin to search for the meaning of life as they mature driven by being uplifted and almost exterminated by humankind. And as in all things, a few of them have found the true meaning of Ursa life. “ The Almighty Being allowed humanity to uplift us. Too help humanity find its way through the universe, as guides.”

Characteristics

Ursa Monks are usually stubborn and insist on showing humans their viewpoint.  They seek knowledge through social interaction or technology.  On a pleasant note, they excel in the production of honey beer, the cherished beverage. Their favorite passtimes include meditating, comunicating with the masses, and producing beer. Monks will usually wear a light robe or overalls.

Background

Ursa Monks gain their skills through a variety of services; Barbarian, Mercenary, and Travellers are amongst their favorites.  Anywhere that an Ursa can explore their surroundings and learn of the universe is a fit career for an Ursa looking for the meanings of life.

Adventuring

Ursa Monks are very, effective fighters but have a nack for unusual weapons (large weapons, staffs, etc).  Their concept is often that the masses require education through hard knocks.
