RULEZ

Unfortunately, Middle Earth has some rules. It may look like a lot, but if you're just joining, just read the first two sections and you can get started. Then read the rest as they apply to you. For example, go over the challenge rules when you wish to challenge.

¤ Joining ¤
first go to the joining board and post your stats. This is the first step. If you post as a stallion, you can:
A) Claim an unclaimed land. Post in that territory that you have claimed it, and also post your e-mail address. I will e-mail you the login and password for it.Also you can only claim one herd.
B) Join, then challenge for a herd. Read the Challenge rules included on this page.

If you join as a mare, Wait for the LEAD STALLION of a herd to come and claim you. Do Not go looking for a herd.

¤ Playing ¤
Horses may talk, but they also nicker, neigh, squeal, etc. Play as a horse, not as a human.
PLEASE try to be an active player. Post at least once a week, or you will be removed from your herd to open space for active players.
Do not attack another horse outside of a challenge.
Be active!! If you don't post in a week, someone else might take your place.
Each herd is alowed a beta stallion. This stallion is aloud to have one mare to his self, the lead stallion picks witch mare the beta gets. He takes over for the lead stallion just in case the lead is hurt or away.

¤ The King ¤
The king of Middle Earth is Cupids Arrow. His mares should be treated like queens and princesses. Now if you would like to take a mare from the king you must ask the king and the mare to take her.If the mare and king both say that she can go then she can leave.
¤ Beta Stallions ¤
Each herd can have a beta stallion. This stallion helps keep the herd together. He may have one mare to his self were he can bread with. They can also breed with other mares in the herd if the lead stallion is hurt or away nd can`t breed. Cause we all know that mares are only in heat for so long.
¤ Herdz ¤
Join one herd only.
If you do not like the herd your in, have the Lead Stallion in another herd fight for you. Do not simply leave the herd.
A Lead Stallion has the power to change ranks of the herd or when a mare wins can be changed.
Only breed within your herd.
There may be only 1 stallion in a herd, and a limit of 10 mares. There's no limit on foals.
STALLIONS: Do not change the login to your board! You will be banned if you do.
Do not delete posts in your herd. The owner will do that for you.

¤ Challenges ¤
Only stallions can challenge with other stallions. Mares can challenge with another mare in the herd to take over their postion in the herd.
Each horse has 3 posts. In each post, two attacks are made: one that hits and one that misses.
Also, don't be too graphic. No breaking bones, spurting blood, etc.NO Powerplaying.
Post your challenge in the other`s territory, so they know they're being challenged.
If you post in the challenge board and they do not reply in 3 days, you automatically win.
If you don't want to challenge, you can give up, and you lose the challenge.
Stallionsand mares can not be in more than one challenge at a time.
A stallion can only fight once every 3 days, because they need to heal from injuries from their last battle.
Mares can only fight every week.
You may not post the results of the challenge, even if its your victory because the other stallion has not posted.

¤ Breeding ¤
Only breed with in your herd.
Once both mare and stallion agree, breed in the Breeding Forest.Be as graphic as you want.
Take care of your foal for a week or so, posting nursing, playing etc,
After a week your foal will be on its own (one of the parents must play the foal, unless they find someone to agree to play it.)
(Stallions) Can Only breed two times a day.
(Mares) Can Only breed once a week.

¤ Birthing ring ¤
You go to the birthing ring after breeding. This is were the foals are born. Then you post your stats and the owner will come and tell you what you had. Whew, thats all the rules for now. I know it's a lot, but the game gets a little confusing without them. Lastly, remember to play fair.
