LIKE HUMAN HANDS FOR DINOSAUR FEET BY: DALAN MUHAMMAD Sometimes I tire of being black. Is that wrong to say? I don't say it to bring down the race, I say it beacause It seems as though ignorance has finally become bliss. Every where you look what do you see? Jerseys, jordans, and things that cost more than they should. Now I don't wear any of this sh*% and the people who do think that I'm crazy, and why?? Because I choose to express myself for myself instead of falling into a category. The fact that that I'm black already puts me into a colom of numbers so why would I push my self down any further. They look at me as though I'm lost when they just spent three-hundred dollars on a jersey, two-hundred on jordans, and another two-hundred on a damn boost mobile.That's seven-hundred dollars. Then they complain that "a brother ain't got no cash." My point for this whole story is wake up. Black people are the lowest race in the united states. We've always been. Mexicans ( or latinos) come here and stack up on everything!! But we sit and complain that the black man doesn't get a chance. BullSh*^. You wanna know how these Latinos get what they get. Determination. When they were young their parents told them to grow up, get and education, and own your own. When we were kids our parents told us to grow up, get an education, and get a job. Still holding on to that slave mentality. That's what we were raised on so that's what we know. We were never forced to pursue higher learning. When you go to a vocational school or a junior college what do you see?? Latinos, and it's not because they out rank us in population, it's because they want to live not suvive. (there's a difference you know) I named the article Like human hands to dinosaur feet. A lot of you are probably thinking what does that mean. Compare a human hand to the foot of a dinosaur. It's no match. The human hand can easliy be overpowerd by the foot. Black people in America ( excluding real africans) are the foot. The powers that be represent the hand. We once were a people of unity. Blacks are born with natural talent to do anything we want. The problem is that corporate america has been able to turn our mind away from the truth. They figured we can still use them as slaves, lets just make them fell equal. I end this with a question. Do you feel equal?? NEXT WEEK:"CAUTION: HYPOCRISY IS TAKING CONTROL."
