This is the website dedicated to my work in progress, "The Unlikely Princess." It is a twisted fairy tale about an improper princess living in a kingdom called Grenning, and the lengths her parents go to to try to marry her off. (Okay, well, that was a crappy summary, but just start reading...I think you'll enjoy it :-) It is meant to be humorous and light-hearted on the most part, with a little seriousness mixed in there--but not too much, so don't worry. The story is full of strange events and even stranger characters, and with the way I write, a lot tends to happen in a short amount of time (I think I have ADD...) so pay attention!
6/27/03: Just got back from a 6-day-long journalism workshop at Point Park College. It was loads of fun. Check out the article I wrote on the release of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" at The Spectrum's website.

4/27/03: Great news!! Well, actually, I've known for about a month, so I guess it's not news...but hey. Anyway, "Andorin's Dream" has been accepted by the dream-related fantasy magazine Dream Fantasy International. Yay! They're just a small-press magazine, but hey. I'm only 16, yo. Any acceptance is a good thang.
1/31/03: Stayed home sick today...ugh. But on the plus side, I've totally revamped the UP website! Added a guestbook, more .gif images, and...look, frames! Hurray! Hopefully this will make navigation easier, and just look...well, nicer. Basically, it took a lot of effort on my part, so shut up and say you like it. :-)
1/29/03: Snow day today--hurray! Not too much in the way of updates today....Fiddled with some .gif files. Put up the "Unlikely Princess" logo thingie at the top of the page, and worked on doin' that for each of the chapters. I'll have the rest of 'em done soon.
1/18/03: Hey there...first entry on the updates section. Today I not only worked a heck of a lot on Chapter 2, but I also created the site and uploaded all UP ("Unlikely Princess") material. The story is already too long to be a short story, and when it's finished, it will be too short for a novel, so it'll be a pain trying to get it published, but try to publish it I will. Anyway, here it is. Enjoy. You can explore the story by chapter....Some chapters are finished (only a few, unfortunately), some are incomplete, and some, I haven't even begun to work on. I'll keep adding more to the website as I get it written. Check for updates.
Also, I added different background music to this mighty fine front page. Yeah, the old stuff was fitting, but sort of gay...no one likes midi files! So anyway, now I've added "Jenny from the Block", a song I actually very much dislike and is not fitting at all. So why did I add it? Cuz I could. Sort of uh, stole it off of kiwibox.com, a great site. Check it out. And hey, if you decide to sign up for their free email service, tell them orange_sun797 sent you. You an' I'll both get bonus points :-)
