The tournament officiating committee will
consist and be compose with the following officials. REFEREES,
JUDGES and ARBITRATORS who's duties are the following:
(1). REFEREE: stands as the figure
head in each match in making a decision. The REFEREE'S decision is
final. In any fight match, only a REFEREE can award a point,
declare a winner or disqualify a contestant, the JUDGE who is
assisting the Referee can only suggest a point but could not award
a point, declare a winner and disqualify a contestant. Neither of
the Judges or the Arbitrator could award a point, declare a winner
and disqualify a contestant from a match except the Referee and no
one else. None of the officiating committee members have the
authority to award appoint, declare a winner, eject a contestant
or even stops an ongoing match.
(2). Judge: is to assist the Referee
in every fighting match to make sure that every clean hits or
contact that any contestant makes which is on the blind spot of
the Referee, the Judge is always there to be able to see and spot
that successful blow. The Judge should always and at all times be
in front and facing the Referee. Every time the Referee moves the
Judge should also have to move, positioning himself always and at
all times facing the REFEREE. If the JUDGE see a contestant score
perfectly or violated the tournament rules and the Referee has not
notice it, the judge can motion to the Referee by extending his
hands pointed towards the scoring contestant or violating
contestant in order for the Referee to stop the match. The Judge
could not stop an ongoing match, could not eject a contestant,
could not declare any contestant a winner or a looser, but could
suggest to the Referee all of this things which he can't do, so as
for the Referee to make his sound judgment and fair decision in
favor of the deserving contestant.
(3). ARBITRATOR: is designated in
every competition matches in order to settle dispute arising from
a protest on a controversial decision that a Referee or a Judge
have handed against the party filing the protest. The Aarbitrator
is also there to oversee and keep an eye on both the Referee and
the Judge making sure that both the Referee and the Judge are both
impartial, unbiased and fair in making their sound judgment and
decisions. At the very first moment the Arbitrator notices a
misconduct and partiality in awarding points to the contestant,
the Arbitrator has the authority to call the attention of the
Referee or Judge and order the Referee or Judge to immediately
stop the ongoing match. As the match is stop by the Referee, the
Arbitrator have to motion with his hands calling both Referee and
the Judge to come towards him to confer about the misconduct and
partiality that he have notice during the conduction of the
ongoing match. The Arbitrator will have to warn and advice
the official involve to be fair and unbiased in awarding a point.
The Arbitrator would also remind both the Referee and the Judge of
the consequence of being ejected and disqualified to officiate and
be ban for life to officiate at any future tournament
competitions. The Arbitrator can only make a decision and declare
a contestant a winner or a looser when there is conflict between
the Referee and the Judge in making the decision as who among the
two contestant should be awarded the point. The Arbitrator would
have the full authority to make its sound and fairest decision
which should be acceptable to both parties to solve that
controversial decision. In the event that the Arbitrator notice a
repeated misconduct and violations of tournament fairness through
wide spread bias and unfairness in awarding or suggesting a point,
the Arbitrator would have to go to the person who is the time
keeper and order the time keeper to stop the time and sound the
buzzer so the Referee may stop the match. After the match is stop.
the Arbitrator would have to call both the Referee and the Judge
to report to him, then the Arbitrator would have to go to the
tournament committee table where the tournament Director and his
staffs are seated and file a written request to disqualify whoever
is involve in the misconduct. If any of the officiating officials
are disqualified for misconduct, the Arbitrator brings the order
of disqualification to the match maker to call for the
disqualification and to call for a new Referee or Judge in
replacement of the disqualified Referee or Judge. Any official who
will commit brazen acts of misconduct will have to suffer the
consequence of disqualification from the games and will be ban and
barred for life to officiate in any of the tournament competitions
that the WFSFU conducts. In any tournament fighting match, there
will only be three officials and they are the following: a
Referee, a Judge and an Arbitrator.
Protest can only be filed with the Committee on
Protest. No one would be allowed to distract and disturb the
ongoing match. Any person violating the tournament rules and
regulation will immediately be ejected from the tournament
premises. Any body or team who would interfere with the Referee'S
decision would immediately be disqualified and ejected from the
tournament premises. Anybody who causes any type of trouble within
the tournament premises would immediately be ejected. All tournament matches will be covered by a
close circuit video camera for the purposed of reviewing fight
scene which are controversial and under protest. If the protest
panel finds out a misjudgment after the review of the fight scene
tape, the panel of Judges would have to reverse the decision of
the Referee and award it to the deserving contestant or either
there will be a rematch between the two contestant in order to
determine who really would be the winner. After the re-match, no
protest would be entertain and accepted. The rematch would be the
final deciding factor regarding the protest. The decision of the
Referee after rematch is final, no other decision will be honored
after the re-match.
Protective gear is mandatory in this Tournament
such as: Headgear, Mouthpiece, Gloves, Groin Cap and Footgear.
