News Release Local Woman Has First Novel Published Elizabeth Olsen from the State of Maine has joined the ranks of local writers. Her first novel, Blood Flow is about to be published, and should be available in your local bookstores and online. Watch for announcements of book signings. What began as a short story Elizabeth wrote of a nightmare she had, and joined with daily stories of stem cell research on television and in the newspapers, the novel grew. This is not a book for the faint-hearted, and Elizabeth is quick to point out that she has found her genre and you can look forward to seeing another novel soon. Blood Flow: The town is reeling; another body has been found mutilated in a dumpster. Kris Peters is the sixth victim found with her organs removed. While investigating her death, a well-liked detective has his head chopped off with a machete, and the only female police officer has been kidnapped. What transpires is a look into stem cell research. Can these cells be used as cures for afflictions and diseases? A brilliant doctor seems to believe they can and he will do anything to experiment until he proves hi theory. He also has a trusted police official willing to risk everything to help the doctor with his research, including making sure the good doctor does not run out of “volunteers.”…
