Bam Margera was born Brandon Cole Margera. He changed his name because; when he was younger he was beat up by a lot of kids and chose Bam because his parents always called him Bam Bam. He’s 24 years old; his birthday is September 28 1979, he was born in West Chester Philadelphia. His brother is Jess, who is part of the cky crew (camp kill yourself), his moms name is April, her nickname is ape and his dads name is Phil. Bam makes all of the cky videos. They are a lot like his TV show on MTV Jackass.
Bam started to skate board when he was eight or nine. He turned pro when he was sixteen when he went on the Tony Hawk tour. He has been pro for 9 years and has been skating for 15 years. Being a pro skater was his childhood dream.
He has had his hands full with movies, tours, TV shows and appearances. He made a movie about his friend Ryan Dunn’s life called Haggard. Also he’s in the movie Grind, a few months ago he wrapped up his Element tour, he also is in the works with season three of viva la Bam.
He dropped out of high school his junior year to take skateboarding a lot more serious. Bam’s girlfriends name is Jenn; they’ve been dating for 3 or 4 years now. Bam’s favorite food is any thing toasted a toasted bagel with mayo lettuce and tomato. His favorite place is Iceland. He was there last year for his tour. He weighs 145 lbs. (nowhere close to his dad) and his height is 5’10. His nicknames are Bam (of course) Bam Bam & sir Bam allot. Bam’s favorite movies are “Good Will Hunting” “robin Hood”(men in tights) & “Mall Rats” and “The Lost Boys”. Bam also has many sponsors, Element, Electric, Spitfire, Volcom, Diakka, Fairmans, Destroyer, Audio & Jones soda. He describes him self: “Um...man I don’t know, I guess uh...I can be pretty loony sometimes.. from time to time especially when the cameras are around”. His fashion tip is anything that’s black and prey paint a whit mist on them to give it a dirty look He says if he did not skate board he would make movies. His favorite colors are; black, dark gray, gray anything dark. His favorite bands are Death Metal, Slayer, Him, cky, and Turbonegro. Bam’s dislikes are Todd Swank and the airport scenario & he likes his A4’s his S4s and, hoofy gear and fdr park. His favorite skaters are Penny, Maldonado, Getz &Hoof. The funniest thing he has ever heard was; when he was at a hotel room brushing his teeth and his friend Ryan Gee told him brush you teeth is played out. Bam influences me on how I can learn new tricks on my board, how to have fun (skating), and a new selection of music. I think skateboarding is more than a sport it’s a whole life style your style; you’re since of humor and your taste of music. When bam was little he wanted to be a pro boarder and to be best friend with Tony Hawk and he has all that, so that tells me that dreams come true, big or little.
