The solution was The Worthington Academy. The Worthington Academy is an exclusive establishment found off the East coast, just southeast of Massachusetts. [map] Barely known to the general public, the school is tucked away from civilization on a small, reclusive island. This secluded location gives its members the concealment needed to fulfill the true grounds for its existence, the development and preparation of young mutants. Fully equipped and under the watchful eye of Charles Xavier, the academy gives life to Xavier's noble dream for a brighter future. Located on Stockwell Island, the East Waterfront Estate houses up to one hundred students and gives attentive, individual care for the most productive growth. Stockwell Island was formerly a small fishing community. After being put out of business by big corporations out of New York, it was purchased by the Worthington family. The historical houses were converted into dorms and a state-of-the-art facility was built on the eastern shore. |
