My View On LUXT
My obsession with LUXT started back in the year 2000. I was out with friends and wondering what the hell we should do with our time on a boring Saturday night, when these group of girls told us we should go check out some bands that were playing at the Cactus Club, in beautiful San Jose, CA. After paying the charge to get in and wondering if I hadn't made a mistake after seeing the first couple of bands. There was LUXT. Large and in charge on stage. Not just some regular punk band looking to make some noise. This band was headed for the big time and taking all of us with them.
This is my view on luxt. A lot of the info you will see in these pages, I pulled from their WEBSITE. You can read all about them there.
They are one of the most dedicated bands that I have every had the pleasure to know about. Their hard work is something to admire and craft your own life around. Even if you are not a musician but a business man... work as hard as they do and you will get somewhere.
I have been to three shows where LUXT played. One thing that puts LUXT above so many other bands is their interaction with fans, during the show and after they have played and stowed their gear. They are wonderful and thankful to all of their fans. They will take time to talk to you. Even if there are a ton of ppl surrounding them. I actually hung out with David H. while outside the Cactus Club smoking a cigarette. Waiting for Erie to find a place to park the van. We saw them pass by about five times before they found a place and parked. All of the band is fun to talk to. I would suggest you do if you ever have a chance.
