BOI Story

The Brothers of Insanity are a very storied team. They date back to season one when there was only three teams in the league. They were a strong team back then, led by the present captain/GM, Mark Richter, the stellar offensive style of Duncan Mckay, and other great oldies. Back then backchecking was almost unheard of and hence Mckays cherry picking style took him to the scoring championship. This franchise with such a deep history has always had a black cloud over it. In the first season they were ousted in the first round after being tied for first with all of the other teams, in the second season, they were a force to be reckoned with, but this time lost in the final to their arch enemies, the Muffdivers. Then in season four, they again lost in the finals. Season five was their greatest yet, beating arch rivals MD in the finals for their first cherry cup. Season six, they lost in the first round to the great defensive style of the Warriors.

A defense-first forward, Mark is consistent in every aspect of the game. He is not a sniper by any means, but is in the top ten in scoring. He has played the most games in the SSHL and ultimately is the brain behind everything you see and do with the SSHL.

Matt is a gifted offensive powerhouse. He plays simular to Paul Kariya, a player who is willing to take the price for any great offensive play. He has a soft touch for passing and a sniper shot. He was brought into the league during season 4.

Mario Lemieux of league. Has the greatest skill the league has seen, but has a heart that would leave Gill in the Ponoka Hospital fighting for his life. He is second all time in points and is also a premier back checker. He has been in the league since it's inception.

Nick the flash Znak. He is questionly the fastest player in the league. Once was rookie of the year and Cherry Cup champion all in the same in year. Then he went through tough times (sophmore jinx), but now is looking to regain his scoring touch. Nick has vowed to practice his sprucing skills so he can have his revenge on Gibbons.

Once was banned from the SSHL for his constant negativity about it. Now is a believer of the league and with that faith, did win a Norris Trophy in season 7. Wade is usually marred with Steve Gill and his stats suffer for that, but now he is free from his ball and chain.

Duncan Mckay 03

Duncan is a superstar in the league. He has the record for most goals in a season(boi season 1)and most sprucings in a season too(7). He became a captain/GM in season 4 where he ended up making a great team, but losing to his master GM, Richter. It's hard to be humble, but Duncan does it well and now resides as a player for the BOI once again.
