New ventilation system helps local school children breathe easier
(NC)-Toronto - Spring has arrived and rain, flooded basements, mould, and allergies are in bloom. Fortunately, this spring the ideal solution for asthma and allergy sufferers has also reached the market. Venmar Ventilation, the country's leader in revolutionary, state-of-the-art air ventilation systems, officially unveiled this spring its new air purification line to residents of Ontario. Venmar showcased its latest innovation to an unusually young audience - a group of students at a Toronto day school.
The launch event featured Venmar's new "Whole House HEPA Air Purification System", a unique product that combines heat recovery ventilation and high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration. Each of the three models in the new series (HEPA 1000, 2000, and 3000), is designed to remove up to 99.97% of particles such as pollen, fungus spores, and tobacco smoke from the air. Children are particularly susceptible to asthma, which is why Venmar chose to launch their new product at a daycare. "We've learned that creating a good learning environment for children includes providing clean air," said Laura Schein, Principal and Owner of The School House. We're happy to be able to improve the air quality at our school for all the children, and are definitely concerned about the growing number of children we see suffering from asthma as a result of irritants in the air."
Despite the popular notion that pollution is an outdoor phenomenon, there is mounting evidence that indoor environments are damaging health. "We are convinced that poor indoor air quality is partially responsible for the dramatic increases in asthma, allergy and multi-chemical sensitivity," said Ian Morton, Manager of the Indoor Environment Program for Pollution Probe.
Added Jean Deslandes, Marketing Manager at Venmar Ventilation: "The Whole House HEPA Air Purification system is for people who are concerned about their health and want to eliminate potentially serious air quality problems, such as gaseous pollutants and excess humidity. And so Venmar hidden in the small town of Drummondville Quebec, had a big vision; they took the initiative to create a product centred on health and environment in hopes to spread awareness on Indoor Air Quality.
