About Me... | Home | Gallery | Painting & Weathering | Castle Links | Dungeon Links | Contact Me |

Most people make this kind of introduction page their home page (ie the index page) but I figure most people are just interested in the dungeon pix and links, so this is just a personal side road you don't have to take...

I'm a 36 year old biker chick with a BA (English). My interests include beer, my kid and my husband, my boxer boys, building stuff, tattoos, amateur web building, William Blake (poet), poetry, D&D, castles, and gardening.

This is me. Shannon-Isabelle (aka Isa, Isobel, Seamus). These are my boxer babies: Taz (Pawsibility's Impossible Taz) is on my lap; the flashy fawn in the front is Speed (Pawsibility's Need for Speed). The middle "kid" is Ginger, a boxer x whippet who lived with us for about 8 weeks (I rescue and place unwanted/unloved boxers).

Boxers are a big part of my life. Speed, who is co-owned and lives with a wonderful couple, was just in his first conformation show this April and took a stunning 6 points in two days; 4 more and he will be Ch Pawsibility's Need for Speed. We're so proud of him!!

I will probably start looking for a show quality bitch puppy later this year with the hopes of breeding her after she finishes and passes her health tests.

Taz and Speed are from a litter of 10 born March 7, 1999. Their sire was a Canadian/American champion and their mom was just plain gorgeous (she lives with friends now). Here are Taz and Speed on their 3rd birthday!

I have been building 1/12" scale buildings and roomboxes for many years now... My ratio of projects started to finished is probably about 10:1!!!

This is a kitchen I am working on; my dad made the oak box and the sliding glass front.

This is the bottom floor of an antique shop.

I worked 24/7 on this project until I burned out, which is too bad because it's got great potential, especially for showing off some of the more esoteric miniatures I have.

Here's a French bakery I made my mom for her birthday two years ago...

It is filled with hand-crafted breads and rolls on racks in the back, and delicious "home-made" pies in the window.

Believe it or not, this building started out as an old speaker box, begging for a new lease on life! Too bad you can't see the advertising painted on the sides...

This page wouldn't be complete without sharing a picture of my "dream" truck - a 50's GMC 3-ton flatdeck, stake sides. Now that's a truck!!

To the right is a picture of my husband's previous Harley ('77 FXS, Shovelhead)and my 60's Triumph, sweet Tiger bored over to 840cc, light as a feather and a dream to ride. Until one day the right hand (gas) hand grip fell off, almost landing me in a gully... but selling it put me through one year of university...

I also do tile mosaic. On the right is a small tabletop made from 4 handmade tiles together with shells and stones I picked up on the beach at Port Townsend, Washington; on the left is a 4x2' countertop - this was my very first mosaic project.

And last but not least - my tattoos...

I also have a Tigger tattoo, and hope to get the Celtic design done as an anklet later this year.
