The Sound Of Beer

The Sound Of Beer: Written by Homer Simpson and arranged by Zac Lee, produced by FOX and SDCC. The last song resulting from the three-song contract with pop music superstar Homer Simpson, and also the most infamous, because on October 15, 2000, less than twenty-four hours after the song was released, the entire band was arrested due the song's "innapropriate lyrics." In the end, however, the band was released without punishment, except for drummer Brad O'Neil, who was kept in prison for the concurrent crime of defenestrating lemurs. The ten second musical line at the beginning of the song is from the famous fight scene in the film "West Side Story." Also, "The Sound Of Beer" is only the unofficial name of the song, other names include "Do'h!, The Stuff" and "Dough, Ray, Me."

The Sound Of Beer

(snap, snap, snap, snap, snap, snap, snap, snap)

Do, the stuff that buys the beer,
Re, the guy that sells the beer,
Mi, the one who drinks the beer,
Fa, the distance to my beer,
So, I think I'll have a beer,
La, lalalalala beer,
Ti, no thanks I'm having beer,
which brings us back to Do, Do, Do, Do, Do'h!
