Hole In The Bottom Of The Sea: Written by Jarrod Thomas, produced by SDCC. Possibly the strangest song ever recorded by the band. Recorded in early September 2002. Due to the fact the song was very odd, and that the band was still uncertain whether they would ever have any success, the song stayed on the shelves. After two successful albums, however, the song was finally released on January 24, 2002. The single featured six versions of the song! The set-up for this oddity was as follows: Thomas on lead vocals, Lichtenstein on backup vocals, Spalding and Wheeler as dancers, Willis on a milk-carton ukelele, O'Neil on drums, Lent playing train whistle, and Brown in a gorilla suit!! Rexrode and Carper wanted no part of this, and some people don't blame them.
