Riders On The Storm
Riders On The Storm: Written by some guy in The Doors, arranged by Jarrod Thomas, Brad O'Neil, Tim Willis, and "Hurricane" Bob Lent. Produced by SDCC. The last song added to the album "Mr. Bowman's Magic Spatula," the four previously mentioned members were standing around with strange colored hair before the second EMU Concert on the Indoor Tour when this song came on the radio. The four of them were ensnared by the song's instrumental part, and refused to leave until they knew the song's name. They arranged the song in time to add it to the concert lineup. Since Jon Lichtenstein was not at that concert and therefore Josh Ott was playing bass, he was called in to play the song when it was recorded in the studio as well.
Riders On The Storm
Riders on the storm X2
Into this house we're born,
Into this world we're thrown
Like a dog without a bone,
An actor out alone,
Riders on the storm
There's a killer on the road,
His brain is squirmin' like a toad
Take a long holiday,
Let your children play
If ya give this man a ride,
Sweet family will die
Killer on the road, yeah
Girl ya gotta love your man X2
Take him by the hand,
Make him understand
The world on you depends,
Our life will never end
Gotta love your man, yeah, Wow!
Riders on the storm X2
Into this house we're born,
Into this world we're thrown
Like a dog without a bone,
An actor out alone
Riders on the storm, Riders on the storm X5
