Letter B

Letter B: Written by Jon Lichtenstein, produced by XC Music. Written and recorded back in the old days of 2001. Therefore the song is in actuallity performed by only current members Wheeler, Lichtenstein, O'Neil, Spalding, Willis, and Thomas (on spoons) as well as former brass player Ricky Wilkinson and former flugelhorn player Chris Teerlink. The band's manager at the time, Vanessa Hartley can also be heard. The song refers to a game that certain members of the band played where-in anyone who said a word with the letter "b" in it could be punched. Let it be said that the other band members put a stop to this nonsense, though they did get a song out of it.

Letter B

(Ooh, safety, safety on blitz.)
(Aw, God, Jon!)
(Hey Brandon!)
(Letter B!)
(Smack!)
(Oww!!!! Bitch!)
(Letter B!)
(Smack!)
(Ow!!!!)
(Safety, safety on blitz, letter B!)
(Shit.)

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, letter B.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, letter B.
Letter B, letter B.
Whisper words of wisdom, Letter B.

And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, Letter B.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, Letter B.
Letter B, Letter B. Yeah
There will be an answer, Letter B.

And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, Letter B.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, Letter B.
Letter B, Letter B.
There will be an answer, Letter B.
Letter B, Letter B,
Whisper words of wisdom, Letter B.

(Hey! Quit messin' around and start running!!!)
(What a bitch.)
(Letter B!)
(Smack!!!)
(Ow!!!!)
