Knights Of The Round Table
Knights Of The Round Table: Written by Monty Python, arranged by Jarrod Thomas and Brad O'Neil, produced by Python (Monty) Records. This song was released as the double A-Side along with "The Sound Of Beer", and was definately the more successful of the two. First played at their last home concert on October 17th. Also played at a smash concert for the students at the Virginia School for the Deaf. Considered by many to be "ridiculous revelry," and even "Communist." The song features the SDCC Girls. The monochrome video for the song features the band dancing in a dungeon with three Mexican Whooping Llamas and a Catholic priest.
Knights Of The Round Table
O'Neil: Camelot!
Lichtenstein: Camelot!
Willis: Camelot!
Thomas: It's only a model.
Others: Shh!
O'Neil: Knights, I bid you welcome to your new home. Let us ride....to Camelot!
All:
We're Knights of the Round Table.
We dance whenever we're able.
We do routine routines and chorus scenes with footwork impecc-able.
We dine well here in Camelot we eat ham and jam and spam alot!
We're Knights of the Round Table.
Our shows
are for-mid-able.
But often times we're given rhymes that are are quite unsing-able.
We're opera mad in Camelot we sing from the diaphragm alot!
In war we're tough and able.
Quite indefatig-able.
Between our quests we sequin vests and impersonate Clark Gable.
It's a busy life in Camelot.....
SOLO: I have to push the pram a lot!
Rexrode: On second thought, let's not go to Camelot, it is a silly place.
Others: Right, right.
