The Immigrant Song
The Immigrant Song: Written by some guy (possibly a kitten) for Led Zeppelin, arranged by Jarrod Thomas and Brad O'Neil, produced by SDCC. Yet another cheap cover song for SDCC to make easy money off of. The video, designed by the genius that is Joel Veitch, features two Viking kittens in a longboat out on the crashing sea, which is then revealed to be a pond in an English park. SDCC has made millions in royalties from various people and companies who want to use the part in the video where the white kitten headbangs to the line "We are your overlords!!!" None of said money has been shared with Mr. Veitch.
The Immigrant Song
Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods
will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying:
Valhalla, I am coming!
On we sweep with threshing oar, Our only goal will be the western shore.
Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
How soft your fields so green,
can whisper tales of gore,
Of how we calmed the tides of war.
We are your overlords.
On we sweep with threshing oar, Our only goal will be the western shore.
So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins,
For peace and trust can win the day despite of all your losing.
