To be brief, Hooverphonic could be considered an ambient pop band, whatever that means. Hooverphonic could be called the Belgian version of Portishead, with sultry female vocals (one of the guys sings occasionally) over a backdrop of electronics and lush orchestral arrangements. Blue Wonder Power Milk is highly recommended.
