RALLY::: Driver/Co-Driver of the Month: Peugeot Driver Richard Burns

Now rated as Britain's top driver, Burns has come a long way in his
three seasons as effective number one with Subaru. He learned his world championship trade
with Mitsubishi, then stepped in to replace Colin McRae at the end of 1998. Two runner up
places in the WRC standings paved the way for title success in 2001. A switch to Peugeot
for the new season sets up an intriguing battle with his new team mate, former World
Champion Marcus Gronholm as Burns attempts to defend his title.
CHARACTER: Fast, intense, passionate and supremely focused, Burns is a fine all-rounder and a threat on any surface. |
