my eyes turn towards the sky
towards the sea of stars
i wonder if my arms will reach
up into the sky that far
i want you to hold me
i want you love me
i try to reach you but i cant
is this just a dream?
looking back on the past
all the things that i have done
how could i be near
such a special someone
i whisper your name
so quietly, it reaches your ear
you look down at me
and you say "i am here"
my eyes turned toward the sky
towards the sea of stars
i know that my arms will reach
into the sky that far
i know you will hold me
i know that you love me
my reach is farther than i thought
