If you're into watching television, (and I don't know of many who aren't) then you should definitely check out Cowboy Bebop. The story follows the lives of three bounty hunters in a futuristic space setting. One of the things that causes this anime to be different than most of the others is that is has an exceptional soundtrack. It ranges from an eclectic mix of sounds - everything from bebop to rock and roll to opera. Without the music, the show wouldn't be the same.
Cowboy Bebop revolves around the life of Spike Spiegel, a space cowboy. Spike hangs out with his band of partners - Jet Black the cook and partner bounty hunter, Faye Valentine the gambling sweetheart, Edward the genius hacker, and Ein the dog. Together they have various adventures - sometimes it's just going after another bounty, but most of the time it deals with the past, present, or even the future of the characters. The action is sensational, the humor wonderful, the music astounding and can even chill your soul, and the adventures draw you back for more.
If any of you want to catch some of these shows, you can watch them on Cartoon Network. They are on Saturday nights. This week, there is a marathon, six of the best episodes!! Yay, isn't that exciting? It's from 11:00pm - 2:00am. If that's too late, then tape it.
