SUGGESTED TEXTS AND ADDRESSES

Here are a few tips on how to write your messages, 
and below- you can find the addresses to the Network 
Executives:

~ Don't forget to be polite while you write about your feelings. There are 
a lot of ways you can get your message across while still being nice. 
Make up your own message or use one of the suggested ones below:

       * This is what you promised us.  We won't 
         settle for anything less.  You don't need 
         crossovers to show that Buffy and Angel 
         still love each other.  If you want us to 
         keep watching and to keep buying 
         merchandise, reaffirm B/A. 

       * Planning a spin-off?  Want to keep the shows 
         on the air for another season?  Want a 
         market for BtVS and Angel merchandise?  
         Deliver on your promises, and we’ll keep 
         watching and buying.  Reaffirm B/A.

       * If this truly is the end . . .this is the 
         end we’ve been waiting for:  Reunite B/A.

       * Make good on your promises.  Show us that 
         love is eternal, that forever is the whole 
         point, and that it means something to love 
         just once in 243 years.  Reaffirm the love 
         between Buffy and Angel.

       * Though Angel and Buffy are on separate
         networks, they still share the same world 
         of rich mythology that Mutant Enemy
         Productions is well known for.  Part of 
         what made both shows unique and special 
         was how each episode built upon the   
         foundation of history depicted in the 
         episodes that came before.  What seemed 
         to be an offhand line in one season would 
         prove to be a portent of powerful events   
         unfolding in the seasons to come.

         However, recent episodes are not based on 
         any canon:  they instead violate it, 
         rewriting wonderful elements of each show's
         past.

         We cannot fully support a company that   
         does not stand by its canon-- nor could we 
         buy any merchandise related to, or even 
         watch,either of its shows.

The texts above are aimed at the writers and executives.  If you write to 
Sarah Michelle Gellar or David Boreanaz, you might want to say something along 
these lines:

       * Thank you for your wonderful performance as 
         (Buffy or Angel).  While I could happily 
         continue to watch (BtVS or Ats) for years to 
         come, I know that this might be the last 
         year for your series.  I hope that before it 
         ends, we, the fans, are allowed to see your
         character reunited with your soul-mate, 
         (Angel, if writing to SMG, Buffy if writing 
         to DB).  It's what we've been waiting to see 
         for years.  Even if the show continues, we'd 
         still like to have the love between Buffy 
         and Angel reaffirmed.  Whatever happens, 
         best of luck in your future projects.  I'll
         be watching out for them.
