MAETEL & HER NUDITY
Okay, now, I know personal hygiene is of great importance to most people. And being naked is only natural... and sometimes great fun! But, when you start to get naked at every possible opportunity, parading around in front of strangers and enemies, hanging out of windows while nude and even dragging poor, unsuspecting, innocent young boys into the bathtub with you whenever you get the chance, this may signify something. Something like, you aren't normal. Either that, or you're Leiji Matsumoto's Maetel!
Now, I completely adore Matsumoto's work, especially 'Galaxy Express 999', and I think that Maetel is a grat character, most of the time. However, for someone who is meant to be so 'mysterious' and 'intriguing', she does seem to lose her clothes quite a lot, whether intentionally or otherwise. (Usually intentionally.) Here I have compiled just some of the many moments where Maetel enjoys the freedom of 'being one with nature', or whatever, (no offense intended if anyone out there is nudist!) and please note that I have only included pics from the new, American version of GE999, this doesn't include whatever she gets up to in the original Japanese version. Oh, and I am not a pervert, this is not hentai, and these pages contain nudity, so if you are some sort of prude or are under the age of, let's say, 10, I don't recommend you go any further. Really. (P.S. I apologise for the terrible scanning - my scanner's crap, I didn't want to damage my books by bending them, and I was hungover. But you get the jist of it, anyway.)

Maetel decides to walk in (naked) on Tetsuro as he's having a bath, and gives him a haircut. From outside the door, the conductor hears exclamations of "Oh, Tetsuro! I didn't know you were THIS hairy!!"
