Depressants:

Cannabis – (cannabis sativa, cannabis indica) Marijuana, weed, dope, pot, mull, ganja, grass.


Alcohol –
(ethanol) ALC, booze, piss, grog.

 

Valium – diazepam

 

Opium – (from the opium poppy, papava somniferum) O, OPM.

 

Heroin – (diacetylmorphine) H, smack, horse, shit.

 

Morphine – (from opium)

 

Codeine - (also from opium) When combined with paracetamol it is sometimes sold under the pharmaceutical name “Panadeine”

 

Note; some stimulants including tobacco have sedative properties when used in high enough doses, in near-deadly doses it is also hallucinogenic. The hallucinogenic herb Calea is a powerful depressant as well as a hallucinogen. It can induce realistic, visionary dreams when taken before going to bed.

 

Stimulants:

Amphetamine – speed.

 

Methamphetamine – ice and crystal meth (HCl form), speed, crank.

 

Dextroamphetamine – dexamphetamine, dexies, D’s, dextramine.

 

MDMA – (methylenedioxy-n-methylamphetamine) ecstasy, XTC, E’s, eccies, adam.

 

MDA – (methylenedioxyamphetamine) ecstasy.

 

MDE – ecstasy.

 

Cocaine – (Methylbenzoylecgonine, from two erythroxylum species, mainly coca) coke, crack (freebase form).

 

Coca – (erythroxylum coca)

 

Ephedra – (various ephedra species) mormon tea, desert tea, ma huang.

 

Ephedrine/Pseudoephedrine -

 

Khat – (catha edulis)

 

Cathinone -

 

Methcathinone -

 

Caffeine – no-doz

Coffee – (coffee arabica, coffee robusta) instant (water soluble form), espresso (generally higher quality)

Tea – (camellia sinensis) cuppa,

Guarana – (paullinia cupana) fruits of youth (seeds)

Ginseng – (panax ginseng) tartar root, five fingers

Tobacco – (nicotiana tabacum) cigarettes, baccy.

 

Nicotine – (from various nicotiana species)

Note; some hallucinogens are stimulants also; some like this are LSD and mescaline, which has an amphetamine-like stimulant effect.

 

Hallucinogens:

LSD – (lysergic acid diethylamide) trips, T’s, acid.

Lysergic Acid (other forms) – (from ergot, morning glory and Hbwoodrose)

 

Ergot – (claviceps purpura) rye ergot.

 

Morning Glory – (various ipomoea species) heavenly blue.

Hawaiian Baby Woodrose – (argyria nervosa)

 

Psilocybe Mushrooms – cubes, golden tops (Psilocybe cubensis), liberty caps, (psilocybe semilanceata), blue meanies (panaeolus cyanescens) magic mushrooms, shrooms.

Psilocybin – (from Psilocybe mushrooms)
 

Mescaline – (from peyote and various trichocerus species)

 

Peyote – (lophophora williamsii) mescal buttons, peyotl, buttons.

Trichocerus – (trichocerus pachanoi, trichocerus peruviana and trichocerus scopolicaulis) san pedro, peruvian torch (only t. peruviana).

 

Salvia – (salvia divinorum, salvia splendens) diviners sage, diviners mint, Mexican mint, ska pastora.

Salvinorin A –
(mainly from salvia divinorum)

PCP – (Phencyclidine) angel dust, horse tranqs.

DOM - (2,5-Dimethoxy-4-methylamphetamine)

DMT – (dimethyltryptamine) dmitri

 

5-MeO DMT - (5-Methoxy-N,N-Dimethyltryptamine)

Ketamine – (2-(2-Chlorophenyl)-2-(methylamino)- cyclohexanone) special K.

Note; Some other drugs including MDMA, MDE, MDA and tobacco (don’t try it) have noticeable hallucinogenic properties particularly in high enough doses. Some drugs don’t induce hallucinations as such, but do distort visual, audital and other perception slightly. Some of these include Cannabis, Alcohol, Opium and Opiates (heroin, morphine, codeine, etc).
