Hello squirrel hunters. My name is Sonny Conwill. I was born and raised in Tremont, Ms. After college I got a job teaching and coaching basketball in Lawrence County, Al. and I now live in Town Creek, Al. I have hunted with squirrel dogs all my life and started hunting with Mt. Curs in 1990 thanks to H.C. Robinson of Fulton, Ms. I hunt Busher, Roaring River, and Streak dogs mainly, but I like anything that can get the job done. Everage's Levy (top photo)is a heavy Roaring River bred dog that we found by pure luck. He belongs to Anthony Everage of Troy, Al. and he is throwing the most consistent, hard going, stay put pups of anything we have tried. We would like to thank Larry Hill and Tim Cosby for telling us about Levy. Special thanks to Anthony Everage for all his help in letting us onto this bloodline.
This is Conwill's Sadie at 9 months old treeing on a Mississippi squirrel in Feb. 2002. Sadie is Streak and Cane Ridge bred. She started treeing on her own before she was 6 months old and keeps getting better. She has a head full of sense and is a tireless, intense hunter. Thanks to River's Young for Sadie.FLASH!!!Sadie now belongs to Terry Fletcher and has a first place squirrel hunt win in NKC and Best of Show in NKC. Also Best Female of Show in OMCBA.Great job Terry!!!
