I rather let time pass me by and reminisce

I think there's something your afraid of

could it be love?

Sometimes I think if it would be e-z if I said the hell wit u

but I know that wouldn't be true

i found something i never knew

something i never felt

that had the power to make me melt

the power is in those eyes.

 I ask the lord from above

 to protect the one's that I love

 Help them know wrong from right

 allow them to feel safe and tight

 not in fear and frieght

 Lord keep them in your blessed sight

 Answer their prayers

 and not be discouraged by the Nay Sayers

 let them know they will always have a special part

 in my heart Y

 Be their vision so they can see

 I am who I am, for they believed in me.
