Hello and welcome to the official website of The Independent Republic of Benistan. Benistan was founded sometime in the summer of 2001 when Ben Natkin decided that since he spent most of his life in his parent's basement anyway, he might make it its own country. Taking a cue from Alexander the Great, he also chose to name everything after himself, with the country named Benistan, and the capital city Benopolis. Also, to confuse his enemies , Ben made his official title Vladimir J. Cheesewright, Dictator of Benistan and Sultan of Wicker Furniture. Ben then proceeded to eat a hot pocket and fall asleep on the couch.
Benistan has a very diverse cultural background. The population of Benopolis is 50% white and 50% dog. There are a couple other cities in Benistan, but who really cares? The national anthem of Benistan is "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" and the flag is a red top half, a black bottom half, and a large hole in the center. The hole represents where I couldn't think of anything to put on the flag. The government of Benistan is a democratically anarachist dictatorship. And communist too, I think.
Right now you're probably thinking "This very well made website made by a 9th grader babbling about something or other has convinced me. I want to join Benistan!" Well thats pretty simple. Just go to your room and say "I hereby declare all of this to be part of The Independent Republic of Benistan. Furthermore, I declare myself to be mayor of [insert city name here]" First wise-ass to name their city [insert city name here] gets a punch in the face. Your duties as a citizen and mayor in Benistan include:
1.Telling Ben about your newly formed city (IM screen name: ben3000)
2.Surrendering the second anyone attacks your city, then declaring independence again as soon as they leave
3.Eternal loyalty to Ben
4.Not really doing anything Ben says.
