In the beginning, there was nothing. Then the two gods Cardė and Gacatė came into existence at the same time. They both decided to create their own world. Cardė's world was magnificent and beautiful, but the world of Gacatė was terrifying and dark. When Gacatė asked Cardė for help to repair the horrors that Gacatė had created, Cardė agreed. However, while Cardė was at work, Gacatė invaded Cardė's world. There was a war between the two gods, and in the end Cardė triumphed. Gacatė was exiled.

Cardė then began to rebuild his original creation. He wanted to make a new creature that would rule over all the others. Cardė decided to create servants to him, called Almalae, to help this new creature when Cardė finally created it. The Almalae were sent to Almalinė, where the new people would live. Cardė then created the new people that he had envisioned. They called themselves the Celts. Before Cardė would allow them to go to Almalinė, he asked for a few Celts to stay behind to help Cardė with a secret task. After that, the Celts left for Almalinė.

In Almalinė, the Celts began a new city, Asdhen. Eventually, it became a nation and conquered all of the eastern side of Almalinė.

Meanwhile, Gacatė had returned and had made an army and a grand tower just off the the edge of Almalinė. Cardė saw that the Celts were too far away to reach his tower in time, and so Cardė created Men. This people had two heros, Chazacrį and Rothag. Under the direction of these two men, and eventually with help from several Almalae, a war was waged against Gacatė and his forces. The war ended with the second defeat of Gacatė and the removal of his continent from the face of the world. Gacatė was banished to the timless void past the edge of the universe. However, after the war, a certain being had managed to burrow far beneath the ground of where the continent of Gacatė had lain. It stayed there and did not resurface.

After that, Men moved southward from the frozen lands of the North into the main part of Almalinė. After a while, they encountered the Celts. Due to the hostility that each people had toward one another, a battle broke out. Two Almalae had to come to stop the battle. The Almalae decided that a common language should be created to bridge the gaps between the Celts and Men. Thus, the Almalinian language came into being. In time, peace came, but, along with the peace, the memory of Gacatė diminished.

Far under the ground, the entity that had crawled downward began its ascent back towards the surface of the world.

Three hundred years later, the creature, named Dugorm, reached the surface. Due to this, Cardė decided to bring the Almalae back to his sacred island. The entity that had come up in Gucatė Desert began to revive some creatures that Gacatė had created, and he began to construct a new fortress, Hargul, to operate from. Later, he began raids on two cities that belonged to Celts and Men, but his attacks were never fierce enough to spark them to war. Peace in Almalinė for the most part continued unaffected, and the people were content.
