GW oil continues to be undervalued and an excellent buy, while the global supply chain continues to be left to left to middle-management seeking to retain cushy jobs at the expense of investors as the top 50 of the newly released Fortune 500 show no significant "% change from 2003" and many even show double digit revenue loss (:ANC). Rated #1, Bentonville's (click to see the rising team led by Linda Benchoff) Wal Mart only showed 9.6% revenue growth (:Fortune feature article: "BRUISED IN BENTONVILLE"). With April 25, 2005.
While GW oil drilling is rated as a strong buy by many analysts (:ANC), other drillers have "reasonable valuations", including Burlington, Devon, En, Petro, and Sasol (:Fortune May 2, 2005). April 25, 2005.
Russia turned against US oil / democracy concerns, taking Osborn of OAO Yukos oil assets as Republican Rice admitted the loss and expressed outrage (:ANC & WSJ). In related news, "The biggest teachers" group is "contesting compliance with Bush" in school policy since funds are not as Bush promised (:WSJ 4/21). April 25, 2005.
$50 Billion to produce oil in Saudi Arabia was agreed under pressure from President Bush, although with such pressure Bush lost Venezuela [oil] military cooperation as Greenspan is losing Chinese Economics (:ANC). Greenspan now claims he hadn't endorsed "Mr. Bush's tax-cut plan" including the Social Security [scam], and Greenspan lacked any remorse saying "I admit I was wrong, like everybody else,", as the Chinese Economy advances against the US Economy in "threat" he told the US Senate Budget Committee (:WSJ 4/22 A2). In related news, while the US views the Iraqi oil lost to China, the Iraqi War continues nonetheless, even though the President said his war was "over", and even though he said it anew months later, yet it continues; and only one 9/11/2001 minor figure terrorist has been brought to justice in the US (:ANC). April 25, 2005.
GodMath potential increases (:ANC), as A Check Exact is "very profitable" (:Charlotte Observer 3F) for it's current investors, making mountains out of molehills; and as ACEKPS offers similar profitability to new investors, with similar insignificant risk (:ANC). Google increased about sixfold in net income the first quarter (:WSJ 4/22 A2). April 25, 2005.
Top Oil Refiners in North America at about 4 Billion barrels / year: Valero (buying Premcor), Exxon Mobil, Conoco Phillips, Shell, BP, Chevron Texaco, and Sunoco (:ANC & WSJ). In related news, $1/2 Trillion 2004: Fortune Top Ten International Revenue Gainers led by far by the oil sector: Exxon Mobil, Conoco Phillips, Hewlett, Procter, Dow, IBM, Intel, United, Pfizer, and Halliburton (:Information Week p40). April 25, 2005.
"Weak dollar favors investments in Chinese manufacturing plants" as "this scenario would not play well in the United States. Shifting production and export facilities into China would further increase the skyrocketing U.S. trade deficit" so "United States could face supply disruptions and higher prices" (:CRN). As "all" of the global supply chain is under direct responsibility of "quality control", "the QC Laboratory" (:American Laboratory magazine 37.6 p15) serves as the monitor and interpreter to the accountants and hence the CEOs, for meeting expertise standards. Normally, good sales practices follow such documented abilities and undocumented counsel via such expertise; yielding investor profits. So while an investor might select the latest vertical technology, such as virus free ACEKPS, and reap great profits, another person might invest in old style supply chains that subject to links rather then net integration. So while adding QC is good, building top QC in from the startup is far better, as so many failed do it yourself dot-coms can verify from trial and error. After all, the supply chain shouldn't have to rely on each link. Outsourcing expertise prior to other investing is key (:ANC). As "movement of specific quantities of material establishes the corresponding scale at which that reality is being perceived." (:American Laboratory 37.7 Space-Time Reality Variables), so as applied to oil, election campaigns, banking, houses, or other, the fact / perception variable is controlled via the QC Laboratory, delimited by QC Laboratory advancing expertise, that is, delimited by the freedom (usually financial) given to the QC Lab by the startup CEO, and that is often according to the time the CEO allots. Hence the financial leverage being according to time, for global systems. In other words, startups have the time advantage (:ANC). In related news, non-ACEKPS type systems are greatly impacted by viruses (:ANC) with viruses up 50% in the past year (:Information Week 4/1 News Scan). In similar news, "WALL STREET UNDERVALUES" "SERVICE PROVIDERS" (:InformationWeek News Scan). April 25, 2005.
While popular in the 1900s, sports take second place to computer techs in the 2000s. Today people are not allowed to drive around to visit, participate in sports, view sports, drink, go to the drive-in, go to community meetings, tourism, and so forth as they were last century, ruining traditional markets. From illegal arrests such as routinely happen in Pennsylvania, Ohio, South Carolina, and so on, to lack of needed road signage as in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and so on, to traffic jams, to never ending road construction, to high gas prices, to shady car dealerships with overpriced unneeded add-ons saying "You need it for inspection.", youth has turned to the Internet and video gaming as predicted by VGC near the advent of the Internet, while government still tries to weasle around the facts for their personal popularity. According to VGC Foundation Cofounder Dr. Bob Benchoff, "Things need to improve in order for us to continue to call this the land of the free.". Increasingly people can't park on their own property except on an inspected parking space, people can't build unless identical to neighboring buildings, people aren't allowed to stop people from fighting, people aren't allowed to help victims, people aren't allowed to exercise except in a designated area for a fee, and so on (:ANC w/ polls at business, voting, sports, and camping establishments). April 25, 2005.
TV Ratings (within the decade): Super Bowl -11%, World Series -9%, NBA -31%, NASCAR -5%, PGA -8%, Masters -14% (:GolfWorld p10), making sporting events a bad financial investment (:ANC), although some have advanced, such as British Open and PGA Championship, and marginally the US Open (:GolfWorld p10). In related news, Top Ten Golfers: Tiger Woods, Els, Singh, Mickelson, Goosen, Garcia, Scott, Casey, Olazabal, and Faldo (:ANC / Golf Digest). April 25, 2005.
Grey Wolf, GW, stock to soar in the coming year as it is to become far more valuable in light of European RoHS Legislation, and due to the Chinese industrialization boom. Also the Chinese are now consuming twice what they did before, doubling demand in foreign energy and food. Today Chinese farming and fishing is a small fraction of what it was a couple decades ago, and in the next few years we can expect to see their Trillions of dollars in economic advancement turn into tens of Trillions or more as the Chinese are working very hard to overcome their former third world nation status of the 1960s, to be one of the top nations quickly (:ANC). "RoHS Environmental Legislation Hits Hard" at energy, with options including SnAgCu, Sn, NiPd, NiPdAu, and SnZn (:PS p92) as Silver and Gold gain value further weakening Bush economics seemingly on the path to debtors prison (:ANC) as Congress passed another further oppressing the poor, amidst Republican internal strife (:WSJ). April 15, 2005.
GW 52 week high & "Energy optimism" (:TSC / MS) although the DOW is down slightly today, making the solid financials of GW of the oil sector (:ANC) "a great time to buy" (:Powerlunch TV). In other news, widespread scams in the oil sector, such as Shell losing big in Africa (:ANC), and the owner of Bayoil and officers indicted for Hussein kickbacks in the scam against the UN oil for food program (:WSJ) strongly indicate the better oil stocks such as GW are ripe for purchasing by the public (:ANC). April 15, 2005.
The New Improved Market: The A Check Exact Newsletter has many people excited, as the International ACEKPS is being held now and through the weekend at the High Point Convention Center, North Carolina, where millionaires and more are being made. Dr. Bob Benchoff was asked for comment, "Yesterday the Vice President, Paul, called but I had urgent MIL-STD-410, Level III, and MIL-STD-2132, QA work for the DOD, so it was late last night and early this morning before all was settled, that is, everything was great from Convention investor perspectives. But Paul had his own emergency and couldn't attend and asked that I be there. The Convention can easily generate several Billion dollars in revenue. We tell the truth, but so many just choose not to believe, so they remain behind. The right oil stock and the right tech group, meaning our ACEKPS with safe data control, and the sky is hardly the limit. Just look at the daily tech losses of credit and other info as company after company gets hit by hackers, Bank of America, Lowes, Ralph Lauren, and more everyday. That just isn't a problem for ACEKPS customers, it just doesn't give hacker software an edge, it's seemless; and ACEKPS customers each and all profit as never before." (:ANC). April 15, 2005.
Cher continues headlining around the world being well known for exciting costumes and dazzling entertainment. In person she's a loving person anxious to overcome social oppression, according to Dr. Bob Benchoff who met her, seeing her marketability in drawing an audience, while accompanying one of the Carpenters at the start of Cher's career. On stage she's a breath of fresh air. While many performers repeat the same act over and over, Cher works to get past that, not only with new costumes and routines, Cher also adds new celebrities to her shows as Merv Griffin has done at his Atlantic City casino, including his own cameo appearances. Dr. Bob Benchoff notes "Merv gave my wife and me a special on-stage welcome along with many gifts. In more current times Merv has many millions of dollars such as to help victims of child abuse, and he has helped in curing cancer with Duke University. Having worked with RD&C we have taught Duke, American Cancer Society, AMA, and other cancer workers some of the lesser known causes of cancer, and how to mitigate regarding habitats. Cher is honorary Chairperson for Habitat for Humanity, small world." (:ANC) and Cher said "it really touched my heart." Other celebreties are likewise helping, such as the Dave Matthews Band (:Undercover Music News). Dr. Bob Benchoff adds, "We've come a long way, and when celebrities want technical help on saving the planet and more, help is available and usually in surprisingly simple terms once someone explains what the state-of-the-art is, such as the right air controls and floor heat exchanging able to save Trillions of dollars actually and also in value for the environment as a start to offset the cost of the UN plan; all this in addition to eliminating a major cause of cancer. We are making progress, yet we have to get politics out of former diversions and into current technology. Together we can do it, praise the Lord." (:ANC). In related news, "now that we are in Australia.", Cher has added "Ray Charles and Dame Edna," explains Cher's engineer Jason Harvey (:Studio Monthly News). April 15, 2005.
The emerging Chiropractic Market: After a 5 year study, the US has a new policy on health, particularly the neurological system, concluding "surgery can even cause more problems" as "Surgery has been found to be helpful in only 1 in 100 cases of low back problems.", while a 10 year British government study concluded "chiropractic care" gave "more benefit and long term satisfaction than those receiving medical care" (:ANC). "It's estimated that 82% of all people live with some type of chronic pain or poor health!!", while chiropractic care has "EVERYTHING!" to do with "wellness" (:Chiropractic Natural Health V18.2). April 15, 2005.
GW, the oil sector investor leader, had an astounding one year current to date 165.7% employee growth rate, bringing it's employee workforce to 2,900, showing how strong it's acquiring of contracts skills are (:ANC). April 11, 2005.
Due to the high cost of gasoline, more people are getting into alternate travel modes (:ANC) such as biking, jogging, and canoeing (:Adventure Sports magazine p58 & p59. While motor boats abound, people are becoming more inclined to buy boats without motors, such as inflatable canoes. Professional sport exercise training partner Dr. Bob Benchoff comments: "To get from point A to point B, the canoe is four times faster than the raft. Since bridges are often few and far between, if you want to get across a body of water and ride somewhere, rather than drive a long distance around, select a lightweight inflatable canoe that has two rigid cross members, then buy a collapsible bike with luggage rack and attach it to the members." Dr. Bob Benchoff has invented professional training gear, such as used with universal type weight machines to isolate arm muscles for body builders as no other; manufactured for him by Unifab and retailing at $100 each (:ANC). April 11, 2005.
With professional travel to the oil regions increasing (:ANC), such as to Iraq and nearby territories, it is important to know how to pack, particularly when traveling on UN flights since the weight limitation is the main determining factor. The 20 kilogram weight restriction is strictly enforced. If traveling with photography planned, here are some suggestions: a "stripped-down" miniDV camera, Sony DSR-PD150, Canon .7x58 wide converter lens, Sennheiser shotgun mic, backpack, and your own food & water (:Studio/Monthly p9). April 11, 2005.
1 Million Iraqis have fled to Syria and Jordan since the end of the war. Rebuilding Iraq may be reaching a stand-still as it's best people continue leaving. Of the 700,000 Iraqis to enter Syria (:WSJ International 4/1) are Christians. Since Iraq has gained it's freedom it has played into the hands of the murderous Chinese market, with strong similarities to the Cuban / Russian dictatorship reign of terror that Democrat and former President John F. Kennedy disarmed. Today is different, the former dealt with weapons, and the new deals with oil, markets, and power; and the Chinese way of life is gaining against the Republicans (:ANC). April 11, 2005.
Insurance companies should take note: Christians are healthier so should therefore feel rate adjustments accordingly from a business point of view (:ANC). In related news, "Churchgoers eat 25% more of the most nutritious fruits and vegetables than nonchurchgoers do (:Prevention News & Trends / Saint Louis University School of Public Health). April 11, 2005.

April 11, 2005.
DC is hot, NY is not (:ANC) as jet fares to DC have risen as much as 61%, while fares to NYC have dropped 41% (:Conde Nast Traveler cover story). In related news, whether it's fuel on the ground or fuel in the air, somebody pays the price as with two of Star Alliance's largest partners, United and US Airways "are bankrupt;" while in Canada it's partner Air Canada just "emerged from bankruptcy;" in grim reminder of the Eastern and Pan Am collapses, along with Vanguard, Midway, and National failing "to reorganize under Chapter 11 (:ibid.) April 11, 2005.
Lower LDL-cholesterol levels with a beer developed by the Swedes, which utilizes artery cleaning beta glucan (:Men's Health, MH, p42) or eat Oregon grape tincture (:Prevention p110). Separately, whey protein can help prevent overeating (:MH p44) as food inspector Dr. Bob Benchoff comments "I've been using whey for years, the problem is, it is excellent when mixed as a malted milkshake." (:ANC). In related news, How much does a medium movie-style popcorn with melted butter-type stuff cost? 1,665 stairs equal to one trip up the Eiffel Tower to burn-off those calories (:MH p 44). To burn 1,000 calories, swim 1 1/2 hours, tennis 2 hrs., bike 2 hrs. walk 3 hrs., or carry clubs golfing 3 1/3 hrs. (:Prevention p40). April 11, 2005.
The Average Guy: $39,429 income, $28,343 if high school only or $54,069 if College Degreed. 46% have a mortgage, 40% have a car loan, and 7% have a student loan. $2,742 is owed on cards with $9,448 of unused credit, 41% paying off the credit card every month and 5% paying the minimum; with a credit score of only 678. 12% paid $100 for sex and 40% would allow another man to sleep with their wife and would charge $520,887; and pay $29,884 for Jessica Simpson, $28,298 for Halle Berry, $22,872 for Britney Spears, and $16,771 for Paris Hilton. Almost half buy diamonds without any research, 83% gamble, and last impulse buy was: Vacation 23%, TV 19%, New vehicle 18%, Home stereo 11%, and gun 1%. Most believe the American Dream is harder than ever to achieve under George W. Bush (:MH / Annual Rankings). April 11, 2005.
300,000 crashed due to cellphones in 5 years, making it 4 times more likely. It takes twice as long to brake while on a cellphone (:MH p179). April 11, 2005.
Over 50 times better than the balance of the oil sector return, GW Stock 1 year ROI reached 62.136% and looks strong on the chart (:Bloomberg) while "Gasoline prices will continue rising, the government forecast." (:WSJ) as the post office seeks a 5.4% stamp increase to $0.39 for regular first-class mail (:USAT) and as the US gets ready to pay $5 Billion more per month this summer at the pumps, but "the real cost of oil isn't just the prices paid at the pump, but also some $400 billion to support US military presence in the Middle East - and the constant threat of disruptions in that region," as "$100 a barrel, is fueling pressure" (:Christian Science Monitor). April 8, 2005.
US Congress plans to start work on a new oil initiative next week. "Even if Congress does eventually pass this oil legislation, it takes years to start getting any significant benefit. Companies that stockpiled drilling equipment in the 1970s, such as MX, Peabody, MQS, and Geo that went out of business, saw their equipment rusting-away. Oil doesn't just spurt as it did 100 years ago, it has to be forced from the ground, chemically extracted from biomass, or other similar difficult and expensive technology used. It seems some large oil companies overstated reserves to beat investors. But even if the reserves were all there, it is increasingly difficult to extract, and that's not about to change any time soon from what oil companies have stated." (:ANC). April 8, 2005.
$18.5 Quintillion dollars to be acquired using the New Chessboard Doubling Principle. "This Principle, having originated in the old world", according to Dr. Bob Benchoff, "uses the 64 squares of the chessboard. If you were to put one dollar on the first square and double the amount for each following square (1 ... 2 ... 4 ... 8, etc), you would have 18.5 quintillion dollars on the 64th square. In the business world there are multitudes of investment deals that more than double your ROI in a short time. Praise the Lord. All you have to do is make the right investment 64 times in a row. According to the math, if you would be happy being a Millionaire, now that's really easy!" (:ANC). April 8, 2005.
$21 Quadrillion is the current 2005 estimate of the UN Kyoto Protocol that Bush fought in 2001, now costing an extra estimated $2.83 Quadrillion in consideration of C-O-L with current closely tied gas explosion (:ANC). "Kyoto, a tiny first step" toward environmental friendliness (:Reuters Moscow / Taipei Times Archives). In related news, $30 Trillion gross domestic product in 2002 (:ibid.) is evidently reaching a new inflation mountain, in view of current more democratic government innovations globally (such as Poland, Iraq, and so on), that may find the figure multiplying this decade as the pre-computer age people retire and new wealth is created globally, yielding prosperity among educated nations as can be expected (:ANC). The World Bank warns global recovery has peaked, as Bush hit a horrible account deficit "record $666 billion last year, with a "162 billion trade deficit with China" (:WSJ pA2), long suspected of money-laundering (:ANC), while only 10% of Republicans feel Bush is not doing a good job (:WSJ) pA4). April 7, 2005.
"THE END OF OIL" National Affairs' James Kunstler headlined, and wants to know "What's going to happen as we start running out of cheap gas to guzzle?" (:Rolling Stone April 7 p45). Meanwhile, GW stock continues to fly as it just released that it's revenue has doubled in the past 12 months and it's fundamentals are "strong" as many analysts have listed GW as a "strong buy" (:ANC) as other industries globally face tough decisions (:WSJ). In similar news, now is the time to invest in stocks or business, and not in bonds, as the government expects strong inflation (:ANC) as Series EE bonds will start having fixed interest as of May 1 (:WSJ 6). April 7, 2005.
While the Saudis offered to help a bit with oil, causing many oil stocks to slump, GW continues to soar, continuing to break 52 week records, along with increased volume (:ANC). April 7, 2005.
SEC Chairman William Donaldson "pushed" through stock trader protection rights, amid many Republican "objections" (:WSJ). Federal Reserve Chairman Greenspan is admittedly having trouble coping the energy sector in what he calls a "frenzy" and a "strain" (:WSJ 6) as he expressed his typical sentiment that everything under his control is on the right track so we shouldn't be alarmed, even though under the Bush administration with Republican Congress which traditionally toots that Republicans create jobs (:ANC) personal bankruptcy filings have doubled since the Democratic Clinton administration (:ANC / WSJ 6), furthermore the current bankruptcy bill will make it tougher on the average citizen (:WSJ 6) while funding rich (reference our previous ANC news articles) credit card issuers well-known for drastically raising interest and defalt rates without notice (:ANC), and yet furthermore non-whites continue to face very tough times as "blacks have" "a tenth of white households" (:WSJ 6). In similar news, Republicans are fighting against themselves (:WSJ 6) including dropping support for Bush this year with regard to his Social Security undoing, while "sidestepping" against Republican Lott's wishes, to close military bases (:WSJ 4). April 7, 2005.
US Alcolol and drugs: "states with the highest levels of employment are most prone" to drinking and drugs (:Rolling Stone p32). In related news, except for China, in 2004 the world executed about 400 people; China executed about 3,400, and Chinese industrial accidents are far from under control as the mining sector for instance, killed 1,113 just in the first quarter of this year (:ANC / WSJ). In related news, "One half of patients in hospitals are there because they are worrying themselves there.", according to Dr. Robert Jeffress (:INSPN 4/3/5) as alarming statistics of medical malpractice continues, often ending patient's lives, or causing permanent disfiguration and disability (:ANC). April 7, 2005.
$325 Billion top ten oil values: #1. GW with outstanding fundamentals, "positive results", and 102 marketed oil rigs producing cash flow making them the "leading contractor" having recently acquired Patriot Oil; followed by potential #2 ChevronTexaco with Unocal acquisition pending; #3 Phillips had the acquisition of Conoco in 2002; #4 Chevron bought Texaco in 2001; #5 El Paso; #6 Total; and old large firms being pressured by new low overhead companies: #7 TotalFina; #8 BP Amoco; #9 British Petroleum; and #10 Exxon (:ANC & Tom Richards GW CEO). April 7, 2005.
Passports required for US reentry from Canada and Mexico starting 2008 (:WSJ 6): Republicans turning their backs on Canada, Mexico and the US NAFTA promise (:ANC). In related news, many businesses continue to find themselves at odds with Republicans, such as those businesses thriving due to NAFTA, being among the same also hit among the hardest by the gas pump price explosion (:ANC). Also "Wall Street firms are scrambling to figure out" if their 2004 "U.S. investment-grade bond deals" are correct, the top ten amounting to $48.7 Billion (:ANC / WSJ pC1). April 7, 2005.
Oil investing looks good over the next 2 to 3 years, and "More than $1 Trillion invested in industry stocks right now globally, and that's a lot of money.", (:Bloomberg 4/4/5) especially in the US since the Yen and Dollar have attained equality (:ANC). April 7, 2005.
$1 Trillion: "Hedge funds may reach $1 Trillion in the quarter.", even though only the hedge bond sector has paid-out (:Bloomberg 4/4/5) demonstrating the enormous risks so many take although so many good investment opportunities are otherwise available (:ANC) as "gift" bank junkets can cost $5,000 and more as some banks have started sticking investing customers with "unthinkable" bills instead of traditional bonuses for doing business with them (:WSJ). In related tax news, $320 Billion is to be repatrioted this year as the rate changes from 35% to 5.25% (:CRN p16). April 7, 2005.
GW stock is super-hot, with Dr. Bob Benchoff asserting it is in a very strong buy position (:ANC) with gasoline expected to leap over $4 per gallon since oil is predicted to double in a jump to as much as $105 in what analysts call a "super-spike range". "The bank also said it's super-spike forcast range was conservative" (:FOX / Goldman Sachs) as Chinese demand is expected to rise tremendously (:ANC). In related news, current gas prices at the pump strongly correlate with political party affiliation, as Republicans seem to increasingly be working to hurt Democrats and others, rather than be patriotic and Constitutional. Our US Constitution provides that each person be treated equally, regardless of political affiliation. But Democratic States are clearly paying up to nearly 20% more for gas than Republican States. For instance, Republican Missouri pays $2.00 / gallon while on the other side of the Mississippi River Democratic Illinois pays $2.23 / gallon being 11.5% more. (:ANC election results correlation with USAT current price data). In similar news, contributions to political parties included for the Democrats, Starbucks, Boar's Head Cheeses, and SPS Studios. For the Republicans were Dilusso and Fruit of the Loom. Split were contributors to both Democrats and Republicans: Costco, Bed Bath & Beyond, Progressive Insurance, Tommy Hilfiger, and very many others (:Fast Company p38). March 31, 2005.
Bush found to be un-Constitutional again, in a trend of leading Republicans into further corruption from un-Constitutional gerrymandering by illegally tax burdening people in the Blue States, to the intentional forcing of the tragically long starving to death of an innocent US Citizen. Not only what Bush did was intentional, but he went out of his way to do it, having interrupted his regular plans to see to it that the starvation continue (:ANC) in what the Appeals Court called "'demonstrably at odds' with the Constitution", and the Court went-on to condemn him for his bitterly severe disregard for the Constitution of the United States (:WSJ). As for the new illegal market of taxing political opponents, perhaps the president will have Congress pass a new law making it legal to break the law, as done to dearly departed (after 13 days of starvation Schiavo with parents denied the visitation rights) (:ANC). March 31, 2005.
Reserve Chair Greenspan with President Bush, each having left the gate open as people increasingly invest abroad, are showing their credibility gap, are distressing stock brokers who seek a larger piece of the overseas markets and who offer more competitive package deals (:ANC). In related news Internet giant Scottrade has just lowered it's limit orders from $12 to $7 each (:ANC). March 31, 2005.
ID theft by fraud type: 1. credit-card, 2. phone & utility, 3. bank, 4. employment related, 5. government documents and benefits, and 6. loan (:CFO-IT Special Issue), but it's not the credit-card companies that are suffering as they have risen to $31.6 Billion / year, also being an increase of 144% since 1995 (:Fortune). March 31, 2005.
Jobs: people think that if they earn something such as an MBA, then they will likely get a great salary, but the Bureau of Labor Statistics learned that those earning over $100,000 / year got their job by simply knowing someone 72% of the time or "well over three times the average."(:Fortune). In related news, "Corporate dropouts forget that the relationships they've built are part of an entire career story that thy take with them." (:Fast Company), as possibly "the world's most famous college dropout", Bill Gates, continues to see MSFT stockholders lose interest and as the Department of Justice opts against Microsoft Office, and for Corel WordPerfect (:CRN). March 31, 2005.
$300 Billion net tax [Bush credibility] gap (:CNN) has the President kicking the innocent taxpayers as $7 Billion is to be paid by US taxpayers next year to fight US taxpayers. Bush did not seem properly concerned about honest taxpayers in his budget as he also increased the tax code to 60,044 pages, the opposite of the simplification he promised (more than double the 1986 number of pages), and has flip-flopped on his promise with regard to tax evading illegal aliens. Under "Republican policy wonk" Greenspan with Bush, it was declared that Federal Reserve Chair Greenspan was "one of the biggest political hacks we have" according to the Senate Minority Leader, as Greenspan and Bush devised (:Fortune p26) a war to take Iraqi oil (that China is taking) and the dismantling of Social Security (:ANC) that will cause double digit inflation to senior citizen Medicare (:WSJ 3/28) that has accountants looking at loss rather than gain from both the citizen as well as the government perspectives. [Note: This $300 Billion is not to be confused with the Bush's other $300 Billion international credibility gap due to his Iraqi War] (:ANC) for which he's asking another $82 Billion (:Fortune Politics). As the Republican's Bush with his trail of lies, slurs, and broken promises comes as no surprise (:many television sources), in a strange turn the Supreme Court holds that a "newspaper" may be liable for reporting the truth about such matters (:WSJ). In similar news, healthcare, if it can be called that, lost again as Schindler listed "bodily functions" as "still working. We still have her." "You can see the impact of no food and no water for 12 days." Dow Pursley was shocked with a Taser when he tried to bring bottled water. Reverend Jesse Jackson prayed, and said "This is a moral issue and it transcends politics.", as Terri Schiavo's parents repeatedly asked President Bush and his brother Governor Jeb Bush, that the feeding tube be reinserted (:USAT) as no food nor water for 12 days is clearly torture (:ANC). March 29, 2005.
$450 Billion US bond market falls nearly 10% (:WSJ 3/25), increasing bankruptcy concerns among local governments (:ANC). March 29, 2005.
$90 Billion in US & Chinese trade with Africa. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is seeing a big change. While US trade with Africa is growing, Chinese trade with Africa is growing faster, from about $6 Billion in 1999, to $30 Billion annually now (:WSJ), or a rate of nearly 200% per year since George W. Many citizens in many states are paying for electric they don't receive. And they are paying more than previously. Sometimes electric utility companies donate" the money to themselves, such as to train various people (:ANC) and other times they collect the money and just don't spend it on the new power plants they said they needed to build, such as a 2,288 MW commitment but only 707 constructed. And in the news, cogeneration is progressing along nature friendly systems (:CSEMAG). In related news, before a greenhouse effect, there may be a chill (:ANC) as "There is a growing body of evidence" "it could take a turn toward the frigid," although in the past century the global climate has risen 1 degree (:American Laboratory 2/5 p33) March 29, 2005.
The world's tallest building, and the new world's tallest building being built. The Taipei, Taiwan building at 508 meters is being out-done by the Burj Dubai, UAE expected to be 2,000 feet, gaining market though not without risk as learned in the South American city-of-the-future built some decades ago (:ANC / Consulting-Specifying Engineer). "Electronic tires will be on the market in the coming years", according to designer Dr. Bob Benchoff, "as they will be four times better at contolling cars on ice and snow. Instead on relying on friction alone, this new design will incorporate electrophysics. This concept has already been proven in the field, and can be expected to proportionally reduce winter accidents fourfold. Another beautiful aspect is the required energy to gain this advantage is so small, it can be put into shoes so people don't slip on ice. It's fully user friendly, so that the user only gains the advantage without any worrys about controls: it's a very tiny automatic piece of equipment. And it has other great marketing potential." (:ANC). March 23, 2005.
$100 Billion / year in food is wasted in the US according to an 8 year USDA study, finding for instance "14% of this garbage landfill is food." (:Science Channel / Discoveries This Week 3/20), although separate studies at no cost to the taxpayer have found little food is being wasted, rather as US/North Carolina Certified Grower/University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Dr. Bob Benchoff explains "Spoilage rates vary and dieters often buy a food product without finishing so therefore it is dispositioned properly lest the person become the [fat] waste; by comparison an empty bottle has garbage value unless the dispositioner opts to use it.". Meanwhile, surveys have found the USDA wastes US tax dollars on convoluted surveys (:ANC). In related news, the USDA Bush Budget Total is $93 Billion in 2004, $94 Billion in 2005, and $95 Billion in 2006 (:ANC). A retirement aged Saudi Arabian was picked by Bush to head the World Bank, undoing much of the work he just did on his recent European tour, hence better called his vacation at US taxpayers' expense (:ANC), as European reaction was "livid", while the US trade gap "ballooned" to $665.9 Billion (:WSJ). In related news, while Bush has been trying to illegally end the Democratic Party (see our previous pertinent tax article) (:ANC) while "the largest [non-government] accounting fraud in U.S. history" exceeded $11 Billion (:WSJ 3/16) with Bush destroying "all the information in hundreds [915 pages] of documents before releasing them to a conservative organization looking into" "controversial pardons" (:FOX) seemingly in the ongoing Watergate saga of illegal practices coverups (:ANC) by the "Republican [party or] administration" (:FOX) as Editor Stahl cries "Let Punishment Fit The Crime", and "Shame" as Bush shows unaccountability in favor of convicted criminals (:Informationweek 2/28), and as information technology management services market revenue is rising from $150.45 Billion to $195.30 Billion in 2008 (:CRN p44) (investors, see our related ACEKPS article) with Bush giving hackers the edge (:Informationweek 2/28) and as "It's tax season." and "We found 90% noncompliance" (:Informationweek 3/7) as Bush approval ratings fall with accounting credibility failure suggesting action to replace current Republican administration credibility standard with the gold standard temporarily until a new President is elected to protect the US Economy from suddenly having the bottom drop-out. Economist Dr. Bob Benchoff comments "If the Republicans look strong to win in the upcoming election, we can expect to see foreign and democratic stock investors pulling funds, just as many various people did when the MSFT baloon burst." Furthermore the Chief Judge said "Bush needs to be judged for failure not only on many fronts, rather for trends of illegal related activities. Bush needs to be held to the same law that revealed the guilt of Nixon for which Nixon resigned rather than be impeached." (:ANC). March 20, 2005.
"the VA now admits" "145,000 veterans" may have been exposed to toxins when the US bombed Khamisiyah, although others put the figure at 200,000, with a victim claiming it's been "a mountain of bureauracy and stone walls." with "more than double" the illnesses vets of WWII, Korea, or Vietnam had. Earlier this month, Kerry said the promised health care was not provided (:ANC). March 20, 2005.

"$10 Trillion Opportunity" regarding "Investable Assets in Retirement", as US global GDP peaks and as baby boomers double in seven years (:Fortune), yet the greater opportunities are with GodMath, and also with A C. March 15, 2005.
$200 Billion in just the face value loss for the US on top of the horrible Bush dollar, is the icing on the cake so to speak, as (:ANC) Bush has given it all away in the opinion of many, as Iran is now free, so they're sending China their oil in their giant deal making China $100 Billion and Iran $70 Billion (:Fortune p88). This is $100 Billion Bush was counting-on to boost the dollar, so now the US does not get the oil Bush spilt blood to get, and the US does not get the profit from that blood nor oil, and the US sees US competition getting that oil and profit as the yen soars and the dollar drops further (:ANC). March 15, 2005.
$173 Billion bid-rigging related AIG CEO quit under increased pressure, as AIG stock is half what it once was with no signs of recovery (:WSJ & Fortune p106). "Old dinosaurs have been" as "Bush is less likely to move" "discontinuous change" as [Republicans are not patriotically progressing] as "change is inevitable" (:Fortune p128) as the elderly leaders in the US need to step down, or more than keep pace with ethics relating to technology and lead technology, or as increasingly evidenced, they will tumble down and take much of the US in their selfish disregard (:ANC). March 15, 2005.
$1.1 Quadrillion is the estimated risk the US faces in the next five decades as derivatives, once held in check decades ago, now climb making the MSFT baloon appear as a drop in the bucket (:ANC). In related news, at the other end of the spectrum, the A Check Exact Kiosk Profit System is facing a nearly equal sized market opportunity. Their top Exec Summary shows, for instance, $1.387 Million ROI in two years on a half Million investment (less ROI for outsiders investing; $100,000 investments are also permitted). This Summary only focuses on the $200 Billion Market of select retailers (:ANC). In similar news, the current $220 Trillion "time bombs", as Warren Buffett calls his "global financial crisis.", is exploding as derivatives are "praised" by Alan Greenspan regardless of the $500 Billion "widening trade gap", and as former President Bill Clinton's securities fraud Act has [caught] 2,177 so named issuers, while SEC Chairman Donalsons pushes for "Targeting Executive Pay" (:CFO foldout & p15, p53 & p54) and while interest rates approach their [maximum] target (:ANC). March 14, 2005.
Banks lose corporate reliance, as securitized trade receivables have climbed from $2.4 Billion in 1985 to $305 Billion (:CFO). March 14, 2005.
Time to retire? Alan Greenspan and Warren Buffet may be showing their wear and tear for having conquered so many worldly battles, as interest rates start to hedge, so to speak (:ANC), and as "You're right not because others agree with you, but because your facts are right." as Warren Buffett stated, and in 1956 when he had amassed a small fortune he figured he "could live like a king." (:Fortune p92); but 1956 is 49 years ago. And about anyone knows the main Greenspan control, interest rates, are not the power they once were. Just as securitizeds have overwhelmed the banking industry, treaties have overtaken the White House. Look at our UN un-relationship, for example; we formed it and now it belongs to others. Great people: yet perhaps their times have come to hand-over the reigns (:ANC). March 14, 2005.
AIG and ASNT have been under pressure of intense inquiries. Dr. Bob Benchoff was asked by ASNT to serve at their national level and comments "I wanted to make ASNT more accountable so that it would have real value, but in their last phone call to me, they said no. Accountability and credibility such as found with CAHoPS applied properly could make a vast difference." as the CAHoPS/DFID is "challenging assumptions and conclusions in the DDPs." according to their own internal checking and balancing used in global advancement. The DFID funds groups in perhaps 100 nations, in applicable matters (:ANC). March 14, 2005.
$48.53 Trillion is the new record for US household net worth (:WSJ) computed by the amount people own, not counting mortgage, credit cards, and similar liabilities. This comes as a great credit to President George W. Bush, even though politicians, economists, activists, and many others find many areas of Bush economics seemingly according to trial and error (:ANC). In related news, the Senate made it harder to file bankruptcy (:WSJ). March 11, 2005.
ID theft is running free under the fund lacking Bush Administration, as Republicans continue to seemingly ignore the selling of the US with the Yen and Euro stabilized about 10 to 15% above the dollar for nearly a half year, as Economist Dr. Bob Benchoff comments, "Republicans need to realize there is more to running a nation that declaring war, and there is more to running economics than to say 'privatize'. This nation should not only be prepared to drive in politico economics, it should at least also have learned from 9/11 that terrorists have planned to attack unseen, as with electronic identity theft so prevalent today. God is my top priority, not Bin Laden. And in that regard, identity theft and many other matters are now far more critical, as I believe the CIA would agree." (:ANC). In related news, the Bankruptcy Bill is "set to pass the Senate today" as the "steel-market" faces a possible "slowdown" (:WSJ). In similar news, Paris Hilton is among the computer hack victims as her private data remained "in plain view on the Web for most of last week". Vin Diesel, Twiggy, and Mayor Newsom are among those victimized by this one small attack on just one person, Ms. Hilton. While the Secret Service acted quickly, they "didn't take into account" cache data (:CRN p80). As Computer Core Auditor Dr. Bob Benchoff states: "Celebrities, economists, and all people need to have governments move against hacking terrorists in great force, as it's 9/11 all over again right now. If companies enable terrorism but pass the buck in responsibility, shut them-down. I work on the Internet and other companies let me be hacked. But people that work on my systems have never been hacked. I'm not looking to sell any such system security ideas, yet I am saying there is an easy way to handle it, and continue to have reasonably free Internet. To put it another way, there are rules against shooting bullets at the White House, but there is little with regard to cyber attack." (:ANC). In other news, since George W. Bush initially became President, and since 9/11, there was an immediate decrease in the number of illegal aliens caught, now roughly 40% (:WSJ) as the numbers of illegal aliens continues to increase. While offering better solutions, Dr. Bob Benchoff brought this to the attention of a government official directly responsible and physically observing their illegal activities costing taxpayers tax revenue losses and jobs, and furthering related corruption, to which that official made the typical reply "I don't have a problem with it." (:ANC). See our ANC World News Section for the half Quadrillion illegal market scoop. March 11, 2005.
$412 Billion last year is to be cut in half by Republicans at great cost to education [again leaving children behind] and Medicaid [leaving elderly behind] (:WSJ). March 11, 2005.
As predicted by Dr. Bob Benchoff and other Geophysicists, another earthquake hit the Indian Ocean rim, this one (:ANC) of Magnitude 5, trapping miners in South Africa. Other cataclysmic events include Mount St. Helens reawakening with a 7 mile high eruption (:WSJ) and the recent Persian quake that killed multitudes. Dr. Bob Benchoff recommends furthering advancing preparedness, "FEMA needs maintained, yet more sensing and predicting work needs to be greatly improved. We currently risk multitudes of people and global markets. Ignoring the problem is not the solution." (:ANC). March 11, 2005.
$200 Billion extra is what Republicans need to make their personal savings plan work, and that is unrealistic as it would cause "foreign investors flee and interest rates soar." (:Fortune p18). In the Clinton Presidency, Social Security had plenty of money as President Clinton gained a great surplus for the US, while keeping nations friendly, as compared to the Bush anti-UN and anti-many other nations approach. Yet now Republicans blame Democrats for their own Republican unaccountability (:ANC), saying "both sides are peddling myths." about Social Security. [The truth is] "Republicans are swearing that the program is going bankrupt and can be saved only by a revolutionary-and they claim relatively painless-switch" (:Fortune main story) while Democrats know the current Social Security System is excellent and will continue to need tweaking, particularly when Republicans mess things-up (:ANC). In related news, former President Bill Clinton is recovering nicely from his hospital stay. In other related news, Morgan Stanley is surprised to find the "Bush Administration overreaches on domestic economic legislation." (:Fortune p21). March 11, 2005.
After the explosions some decades ago (:ANC), farm towns are seeing "New Hope", betting on Ethanol and converting corn to fuel, rising from zero in 1979 to 4 Billion gallons annually (:WSJ 3/9) at a 50% increase rate the past few years (:ANC/WSJ). Readers may remember how in years past related antifreeze plants and many silos exploded (:ANC). March 11, 2005.
Rumsfeld unveiled plans for the new military, with small immediate response units positioned strategically, far from the traditional approach (:WSJ). In related news, South Korean Aid to [their relatives in] North Korea upsets US. While South Korean income is $0.6 Trillion, North Korean income is less than $0.02 Trillion. Also Iran was found guilty of having unaccounted nuclear weapons, bought from Pakistan (:WSJ). Instead of Bush calling on the UN, perhaps due to severed relations, the President "insists" the EU punish Iran "if incentives fail" (:ANC/WSJ). March 11, 2005.
$1/2 Trillion in the past four years with over $120 Billion estimated for the 2005 [recently over a 25% rate], consumer electronics sales are growing, with the US seizing "Momentum From Japan", the 40 years leader (:WSJ) augmenting the US percentage factor (:ANC). In related news, an "opening offer" of $5 Billion was received by Toys "R" Us (:WSJ). March 11, 2005.
Alzheimers may be prevented within the decade, pending funding (:ANC). Nebraska. Newborns are now being given far more thorough tests, such as new audiology tests, thanks to Girls and Boys Town National Research Hospital's National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, NIDOCD. While Chiropractice was founded on hearing correction via vertebrae manipulation, an interesting aspect of NIDOCD is their program to "Improve understanding of word learning", according to their Easter 2005 Journal page 10 (:ANC). March 11, 2005.
$600 Billion spent on health care by "America" in 2003 (:American Biotechnology Laboratory magazine, ABL, p4) may be greatly impacted by the new buzzword Nanobiomics, as people will be not only traced as to whereabouts and activities, yet also according to body function and thought patterns (:ANC) such as underway at the Arizona Biomedical Collaborative (:ABL p 28). Yet the related pharmaceutical industry may be self-deluded (:ANC), claiming, "Only software enjoys a better gross profit." (:ABL p6), as the truth is many businesses operate in the black and with no significant overhead. Churches produce books (including on nutrition), in vogue natural farms pay for seeds and automation or low pay workers and produce crops, designers produce designs (including on automating pharmaceuticals); so in other words, the pharmaceutical industry is just one of many fields involved in research, development, and implementation, and from a glance at the stock market, most agree (:ANC). In other related news, contrary to "archaeologist" belief, Florida tribe members still exist (:WSJ 3/9). Dr. Bob Benchoff of NC, recently visited the fountain of youth area of Florida, clarifying: "Pioneers found Florida Indians were not old and so concluded there was a fountain of youth, not realizing longevity, or rather lack thereof, played a role." (:ANC). Floridan Apalachee Indians were hit by [diseases such as] a yellow-fever epidemic. Even so, Reed of the University of North Carolina points-out that Southerners are more likely to have an Indian bloodline than a Confederate (:WSJ 3/9) March 11, 2005.
$450 Billion was surpassed in underfunding the government agency Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., PBGC, for single-employer plans, with $185 Billion aggregate shortfall (:CFO), setting worsening records every year since George W. Bush first took office, except the first year as he depleted the large safetynet established to protect retiring hard workers (:ANC / Human Capital / ibid.). But that's only half of the story, as "PBGC mirrors" the "declining" "pension system", causing the "DOUBLE WHAMMY" (:CFO). In related news, the "thrift crisis" "cost taxpayers more than $124 billion.", and in 2003, the 11 airlines whose plans covered 440,000 participants exposed the threat to PBGC prompting Executive Director Bradley Belt to say last November "But with more than $62 billion in liabilities, it is imperative that Congress act expeditiously so that the problem does not spiral out of control.", as "The Domino Effect" continues with bankrupt United underfunded $8.3 Billion in November, and US Airways adding another $2.3 Billion in December. SAP CFO said "it's horrible" "dumping". PBGC's Belt said there is a problem with our government allowing hard workers to lose in the end (:CFO). In similar news, "The top Senate Democrat described the Fed chairman as a hack.", regarding failed accountability for the Greenspan/Bush plan to do away with the current Social Security system (:WSJ 3/4) as Bush seeks to use the money elsewhere (:ANC). "Republicans got set to juggle" funds with another $81.1 Billion in emergency appropriations, as Republican voters are paying the price for "gushing red ink." as Republican leaders put it (:WSJ 3/4) and as many taxpayers look to carpool (:ANC). March 8, 2005.
"BUSH TO BLUE STATES: DROP DEAD" is what Americans for Tax Reform said in an article detailing how the Alternative Minimum Tax, AMT, established in 1969 "to ensure high-income taxpayers don't avoid taxes" is now being used against the middle class. Hardest hit are the Blue, or Democratic states. Bush just released his 2006 budget proposal with "no cost estimates for an AMT fix". The US Treasury sees there is a problem and wants to fix it, and has met on it and will report on it in the months ahead (:Fortune p34) as Republicans switch from US patriotism, to make politics the new market frontier (:ANC). In related news, more youth are voting Republican, but don't have the guts to backup what they preach as US Army recruiters are far below their recruiting goal (:ANC), such as with 63,251 recruits in 2002 as compared to only 49,210 currently (:USAT). March 8, 2005.
CIA complained of Bush "ambiguity" (WSJ 3/4) as Jon Stewart gained footage of a very surprised look when the next day Bush announced (:The Daily Show) his "priority" (:WSJ 3/4). $1 Trillion is what the tobacco industry is facing this century in litigation (:ANC) as the 1998 deal "set up the most successful" "output cartel" "in U.S. history." (:Fortune p130) as a "smoking pill shows promise" (:FOX). March 8, 2005.
H5N1, or the Chicken Little flu, is ravaging SE Asia such as in Viet Nam (:ANC) adding to the list of new plagues from Hanta virus to Ebola to West Nile and then SARS. Yet worse are the old lingering diseases of TB, Malaria, and HIV killing millions each year (:Fortune p120). March 8, 2005.
Florida tourism flounders on many fronts. The homeless block the beaches at Daytona where health code violating hotels with faulty electric systems, undersize toilets, and bugs left smashed on walls charge $150 per night (many times their advertised price) as compared to Myrtle Beach, SC, where an ocean front with proper electrical wiring in new walls and a regular bathroom can be had for $33.00 including taxes. Florida is also currently suffering severe beach erosion (:ANC) and Key West has dozens of dolphins on the beach (:WSJ). Dr. Bob Benchoff just got back from Cape Canaveral / Kennedy Space Center where he received special secret updating, but was able to discuss the region itself "Federal government is very upset with the ongoing damage to marine life and wildlife in general due to wreckless urban sprawl as local governments and home owners associations exhibit careless disregard toward endangered species. If home owners associations and similar just want to be irresponsible and make it up as they go along, then strict and severe accountability are in order. If they want to be called an official of government, then they need to be held personally responsible or we as a people will continue to increasingly lose more irreplaceable species. Developers obey laws for the most part. So the blame is squarely on the home owners associations and local governments to see to it that laws are clearly available prior to construction. Revealing code criteria only after construction is un-Constitutional, although it is a widespread trend. Such home owners association presidents and such local inspectors need to be removed from office a placed in prison where they can disregard endangered species all they want. As developers can tell you, such ex-post-facto bureaucrats cost the US Trillions of dollars, and have caused many developers to go out of business; and similarly, such is much harder to replenish than a bureaucrat." (:ANC). In related news, vacation rentals are hard pressed while also, the cost of home ownership rose from 5% to 11% under the George W. Bush administration (:WSJ 3/4). In similar news, Datona businesses had many signs welcoming bikers, but on March 3rd there were as many patrol cars as there were bikers, and bikers were being pulled-over. On March 4th our reporter saw no bikers, only patrol cars (:ANC). In other news, on the West Coast, California hotels and other businesses are making great strides in fuel cell and co-generation efforts, to thwart further blackouts due to reliance on Texan oil. Offshore Texas and the Gulf in general is seeing a flood of oil rigs being constructed greatly threating the delta, beaches, tourism, shrimping, fishing, and so on (:ANC) as gas prices head to $2.15 / gallon (:FOX). As ANC previously reported, Quadrillions of dollars are being wasted in education and training, due to foreign purchasing of top students, yet such is only part of the problem, as with the devalued dollar under Bush Economics, USA finds top professionals in not only education but also experience flooding foreign markets and often making permanent residence in those nations. It's no wonder so much whining has been going on for many decades among educators in the US. The US produces better education contrary to what many statisticans proffer, due to US resources, in other words, due to the US standard of living able to watch educational television, have Internet access, buy tools, and so on. Essentially, the US builds the planet, and outer space for that matter, far more than Russia, China, or any other nation. So while we fund and create better [useful, job applicable] educators, we see them going overseas increasingly, and taking money saavy with them, among other things (:ANC). "The Shrinking Research Budget" (:Photonics Spectra editorial) is an example of such whining, as saavy University comptrollers understand the students are fiscally unimportant save for University image / standing. The far greater funding (or loss) comes via copyrights, patents, proprietary customer deals, and government outsourcing. Here the real money lies in the big picture; although many key players are under contract not to disclose same (:ANC). In related news, the new Bush War to expand censorship continues. Bush has raised profanity fines from $27,500 to $500,000 per violation, causing vast numbers of government personnel to be in violation of the law (:Rolling Stone p 64, RS) to the tune of perhaps Quintillions of dollars or more. (:ANC). By comparison, great physical threat or harm to humanity, such as for instance a nuclear malfunction as measured by the NRC, fades by comparison with their top fine last year having been only $60,000 (:RS). But that's just the tip of the Bush mind control iceberg (:ANC) as "Bush has barred AIDS groups from grants" "unless they publicly vow opposition to prostitution." (:WSJ 2/28). March 2, 2005.
US & Canada neighbor friendliness has been maintained for hundreds of years (:ANC), but now Rice told Canada it is in "disfavor" (:WSJ). Mexico / NAFTA has cost the US 40,000 jobs and under the Bush administration the border has become an illegal drug haven (:RS 2/24 p48). Ira Lurie, Senior Research Chemist for the US DEA pioneered much of H.P.L.C., and has newly pioneered C.E. (A C. E. link) which has become the dominant DEA method of analysis, stating "we expect to analyze approximately 800 opium samples, 2400 heroin samples, and 500 tablet and capsuel exhibits." Top current concerns include Homeland Security optoelectronics and night vision, port security marine [Ultrasonics and] optics, biometric recognition [such as smell, heat, (fingerprint (:CRN 2/21 p10A)) and other] algorithms, bio & chemical terrorism, and [DOD] intellectual property (:SD&S). $2.57 Trillion in the Bush budget depends on info ROI (:Informationweek 2/14 News Scan, INS) considered extremely risky (:ANC) as there is a "pressing need to improve cybersecurity" (:INS). Of the $2.57 Trillion, $65 Billion is "an additional investment of about 7.1 percent" in "IT" (:CRN 2/14 p72). In similar related news, "Bush falls short" having promised to fund to overcome global poverty, as Bush invoked: "a God who is impatient with injustice," now finds President Bush having "shortchanged" God $4.5 Billion of the $5 Billion vowed (:RS 2/24 p24). March 2, 2005.
After seeing the results of their "pilot program", the US IRS "has begun looking at tax returns of executives at hundreds of U.S. companies," (:WSJ) as Iran and Russia agreed to deal nuclear materials (:ibid. 2/28) in a great defeat to the Bush political strategy (:ANC). March 2, 2005.
Microsoft's security initiative is 3 years old now with more bugs infiltrating than ever (:INS News). In related news MSFT's Bill Gates was knighted, but he is not to be called Sir, as such is reserved for English "nationals." (:USAT Section B). So it seems all you have to do to get knighted is to give England [or some other nation] tons of MSFT products at a tiny fraction of what MSFT charges the US (:ANC). In related news, MSFT loses $30 Billion annually due to illegal Windows resellers. In the US the amount is $7 Billion plus a tax cost of $6 Billion. Also least piracy is in the US at 23%. The highest national piracy rates are found in Vietnam and China (:CRN 1/31 p12). In related news, the Fastest Growth Large Companies are: 1. World Wide Technology 71% with $1.37 Billion, 2. When a standardization body trips, markets reel. While Six Sigma is being slammed with lawsuits, that doesn't seem to phase it as it currently offers "Total Cost Per Seat Price" of "Up to $245,000, not including the "Enterprise License" "$99,995", nor the "Price / License". But it does include a "62%" "Discount"; and the Golf ebook is free "with the QI Macros". Of their "Customer Comments" their number one listing seemingly offered as their convincing argument to have their services discusses their "Chapter 11" and "accidents" (:ANC: a non-red ink, non-accident, & non-Six Sigma place of business). In related news, similar to Six Sigma in many ways, ASNT has been accused of scamming people such as related to their former "Grandfathering" policy. Currently ASNT is taking money on the promise of providing a range of services, but when it fails to provide those services, ASNT simply tells victims of their scams, they have a "no refund policy", even when membership has only just started. It seems their "policy" needs police action. Perhaps such experts as Chip Rathwell will push to replace ASNT with AWS, already accepted in many states as law. Chip is considered an expert in having coordinated ASNT / AWS affairs. (:ANC). March 2, 2005.
Quadrillions of dollars wasted: A half year ago Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan began an agressive plan to manage the inflation curve as he testified before Congress of the strength of the Economy. He was criticized by some economists, and the Wall Street Journal said it would be the test as to whether Mr. Greenspan will "look brilliant.", or if he will look [rediculous]. Well the test of time brought the results, and Mr. Greenspan does not "look brilliant.". While the DOW Jones Industrial Average shows a rise of 5%, that only places it back where it was a year ago. Two more important considerations are as follow: Global stocks excluding the US have leapt-up 82%, and the most significant change since Mr. Greenspan's assurance before Congress is that the Dollar dropped 8% as the Yen and Euro climbed as much (:ANC). In related news, technology has trouble opening the market among retirees. It seems common knowledge that people over 60 just don't get PS2, computers, or even remote controls for that matter. With such trouble getting a grip on ever advancing new technology, the US is faced with unnerving problems regarding security, the Economy, and leadership as a whole. Two cases in point include our "new" CIA Director as President Bush put it, who is 67 years old this year, and our Federal Reserve Chairman who is 79 years old this year. Another concern is among the youth of the US. We as a nation invest quadrillions of dollars educating and training our youth. But if our best students go work for another nation, that is a lot of money not only missing from our Economy, but working against our Economy to serve the other nation(s). Furthermore many people in the US work for other nations via the Internet, and too many simply spam and hack the most valuable machine this nation has. While nations such as India are buying-up our top technicians, Bush, Greenspan and others are blindly claiming "Mission Accomplished." (:ANC). February 25, 2005.

"F" on the report card is typical in federal government according to the House Government Reform Committee. Of the 8 sectors graded, 6 were graded F: Agriculture, Health and Human Services, Security, Energy, and Urban Development. Remarkable improvements came in the other agencies in the past year: Justice F to B-, Transportation D+ to A-, and USAID C- to A+. Greenspan told a Senate committee that "technology" is increasing the "complexity" of our "economic" struggle, particularly the "downward pressure" on those least skilled technologically (:InformationWeek p16 & p26); while Bush just recently awarded the Department of Agriculture for commitment to the President's Management Agenda (:Quality Digest p9) causing grave market concerns of those failing, while the public continues to be concerned for those passing but the difference yet to be felt by the general public, as with many corporate officials going unscathed, traffic problems continuing, and broken Bush promises after his swearing to God (:ANC). Many have voiced displeasure over Bush's funding of only 210 border patrol guards, yet moreso the displeasure is in Bush heading the wrong direction politically as he seeks to have a military state rather than free enterprise. Having controlled government classified matters and having been assigned Security Badge #1 for the Cleveland Tower Complex, for examples, Chief Justice Dr. Bob Benchoff comments "Extra security guards hardly help, in fact they interfere with my work and the work of this nation. Security officers working against caseloads is another matter." (:ANC) as Phyllis Schlafly similarly indicated last night, Bush's 210 plan was derisively ludicrous since illegal aliens get very many subsidies and benefits yet typically "pay no taxes", and do not spend their income here, but send it back to their country, wrecking havoc on the US Economy (:C-SPAN2 / US Senate); as Dr. Bob Benchoff elaborates "Incentive is far more important than police action. Currently in Iraq Bush has not provided political incentive to stop suicide bombers, and in US Homeland Bush has not provided political incentive against cybercrime. If the reasons go untended, hundreds of guards and thousands of troops can hardly end criminal activity. Bush wanted the job, and now he's stuck-in it and doesn't know what to do; although United, right continues to overcome. I love our President, and even though Bush is smart about some things, not so in this case as Phyllis Schlafly is clearly right about this, and so for this good work of hers, let us praise the Lord." ASNT has long been the industry standard that many other groups have worked to incorporate into their fields, such as chemistry, welding, fabricating, polymer studies, and so on. Yet instead of law, ASNT has worked to keep the door open to free enterprise, such as with SNT-TC-1A, helping customers get what they want, and to guide employees, trainees, and Level I, II, and III personnel, Level III being the certification of those qualified to the highest level of expertise. Level III Dr. Bob Benchoff was asked about the training, commenting "It's a real challenge, but it's great. People new to it generally don't realize how expensive it is, so be sure to build it into your business price structure up front, as I have seen many novice customer employees get assigned to qualtiy control, without being told that it can be very expensive, yet if the customer wants it, they reasonably already know about it and hence expect to be billed accordingly for it. When I got into ASNT in 1978, it was at the start of their CEU program and immediately got very involved, so I quickly accumulated more CEUs than anyone I know. It's been difficult, yet anyone can apply themself and gain great success. It continues to be a great program in my professional opinion, although while working at some large companies, I have heard Level IIs and IIIs complain about the politics." (:ANC). In related news, the DOD has just reported "corrosion" as the "number one" cost for maintenance, valued at $20 Billion annually (:Materials Evaluation magazine p 102), attesting-to the correctness of former President-elect John Kerry's affirmation of same, and causing many to be concerned that the US Navy left behind by the completion of the Bush administration will be unmaintained to such a degree as to require the incurring of vast sums to replace much that could have been maintained and even updated as John Kerry wanted, at a fraction of the cost. This raw data alone amounts to $80 Billion dollars over these next 4 years as Bush continues to be over-budgeted, yet the real concern particularly with salt water, is that Bush's work can easily cost the DOD a Trillion dollars considering all the crews needed to weld new hulls and replaces ships, as the DOD is not as museum art, protected at all times, but is out there in the rough, including with many state-of-the-art systems not proven with time, particularly when the President doesn't care to maintain them. Maintenance is not merely cumulative in the DOD, as a relatively small task lack of maintenance can quickly yield major problems. Bush has blamed the DOD previously, and at this rate, it can be expected again (:ANC). February 23, 2005.

Global warming "cannot be solely due to natural ability.". An annual variable is the polar melt and rebuilding cycle, is of great concern currently, as this year the ice is 1/2 as thick as a year ago (:National Geographic television: Polar Risk 2/19), since once the cap is gone, it works to remain gone, as the water and land work to resist initial ice formation. To put the cycle in perspective, ice ages tend to come about every 15,000 to 30,000 years. But complicating the matter is the increasing heat coming from the sun as it matures. Given these, and the natural balancing or change to nature's systems, the impact by humans is known to some degree, yet much data shows no current association (:ANC). February 23, 2005.

The other 8 areas President Bush failed: Relationship building lacked WMD "credibility", Learning lacked 9/11 "efficiency", Acumen [aside from his dad having to explain to the press what his son meant] lacked "make money" as he is always borrowing, International cultures lacked "success" due to the "American way" [Bush's imperialistic] attitude, Mentoring lacked "develop the people" as a great many of his top people quit-on him, Management "expectations fail" [such as failing to find or even lately discuss Osama Bin Laden], Change "won't be able to lead" as he fought the same war as his father and didn't find WMD nor terrorist harboring as he had indicated, and George W. Bush Results lack "aligning" and "motivating" people, as "It can no longer be done by just commanding people to do work." (:Informationweek). In the US, Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan doesn't seem to agree with himself, finding inflation low, although Treasury prices fell as interest rates increase; while the Chairman warned citizens to save money as per the Bush Plan that other top economists have found unaccountable; as Dr. Bob Benchoff comments "I have respected Alan Greenspan and long admired his works, but he has gotten quite old now and seems to be slipping, as he seems to be leaning toward the safety-net of luck. The truth being, many officials continue to serve and that is laudable, but they forget others their age have retired for a reason. In addition to applicable X-ray problems, are relational problems such as with gamma, beta, and alpha, as well as microwave [if the boiling doesn't get a person first], radiant, and so on, [such vendors are advised to get the facts]. Child porn continues to climb under the Bush administration, up 39% last year according to government, with CyberTipline having logged 106,000 reports (:Information Week 1/17 p16) as "Republicans have yet to grasp the penchant of addiction as it is embroiled into their voting style," as one Democrat (wishing to remain unnamed due to the topic) with a psychology background put it, elaborating, "so as they cut-down one freedom, the people tactically seek another. That is the same principle Republicans often use to get elected. Like what happened to Kevin Morgan, they ruined his business. The public wants freedom, but the Republicans don't care about representing the public, they just want the money and the votes to get the money. And they use psychology to trick the public into voting for them. It is the people that feel abused and victimized, Republicans and Democrats alike.". Kevin Morgan sells alcohol legally to the public, and MADD is trying to close his business. As Kevin said "This bill doesn't do anything but put me out of business." "it's the last straw." (:ANC). In related news, Dr. Bob Benchoff received a check from MADD today and comments "It's like the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms covering separate areas that often are found together. Sex isn't bad, nudity isn't bad, the Internet isn't bad, liberty isn't bad. Also alcohol isn't bad, even though MADD believes it is. What is bad is kidnapping, torture, and bondage. Administering drugs without permission, subjection to illness without care, and similar things are typically very bad. Everyone already knows these things, but people sometimes choose to be bias, just as it is easier for some at times to be addicted than to care. MADD is right to say don't get drunk then drive, but whether discussing alcohol, sex, or some other worldly topic, let's not go overboard; instead let's be reasonable. As for Kevin Morgan of Austin, Texas, for instance, a snowcone with wine for an adult after work on a sunny day in Texas should not be a crime, even while driving the car, as those Texan roads can be straight and very long with no other vehicles to be seen. Drinking under other conditions is another matter. Regarding child porn, clearly children should not be forced to engage in sex. Even so, it is the case that children work to initiate sexual activities as part of their learning process, so parents need to help them past that learning stage more than to merely say it is wrong; parents need to ask children for their help in protecting children and teens from sex, through enlightenment. Children and teens do not have as reliable thinking patterns as adults, so adults need to know their gaps in thinking, and that is difficult for them to explain, so let them know patience is a two-way street. Work together for good. People balance budgets, yet many people also need to learn to balance their emotions." (:ANC). In other related news, the Texas Attorney General nabbed "world's largest spam operations" run by a student of the University of Texas at Austin and a Californian, with businesses registered in Nevada. SpamHaus ranked them as the "fourth-largest illegal spam operation in the world." (:Information Week 1/17 p16). Sexual predators may now be caught with new technology (:CNN) as Ultrasonics Level III [highest level of expertise recognized by ASNT, over which Dr. Bob Benchoff held the Chairman position for various committees and his Technical Writers Cup with trophy and stipend] Dr. Bob Benchoff explains "Ultrasound low frequencies irritate certain insects and rodents, with sound inaudible to most humans, although I can hear some of these. Ultrasound can also impact lifeforms mortally, such as killing dolphins, and can pound such things as submarines. Ultrasound can also kill white blood cells, having caused much disuse among much of the medical community. Some people would like to have Ultrasonic pads on computers to measure densities and anomolies, such as calcium, to trace sexual predators. Such is similar to fingerprinting and conflicts with Bill of Rights norms, as well as being unfair to innocent adults at risk to white blood cell loss. If the Ultrasonics are brief and not of the type predictably very harmful, then such might be used, but even so, there is a reason people are not fingerprinted constantly, and there is a reason chips are not implanted into people to trace them, and there is a reason brains are not cut until all people vote the same way. Sexual predators need to be caught, but the greater importance is in empowering responsible parents and guardians." (:ANC). Bush is pushing for more biometrics with 200,000 more government workers to be bio-analyzed per "prototype" technology (:Informationweek p26) as Dr. Bob Benchoff comments, "Some biometrics are very safe and non-intrusive to any reasonable extent, such as molecule sniffers that can be installed at doors, hallways, in computers, and so on. There also remains a strong marketing opportunity for anklet type RFID with a water-tight storage compartment keys and cash for the beach. Such could locate children, making not only parents aware, yet also to work in helping lifeguards, and abduction/Amber Alert type authorities (:ANC). In related news, child abuse awareness month info can be found 7PM March 23 on The Government Channel (:Charmeck). February 11, 2005.
$1.2 Trillion is the current expectation of US drug coverage "2006 to 2015", with "Drug-benefit cost put at" $720 Billion during the first 10 years, with Bush saving $190 Billion by not helping "the poor." (:WSJ 2/9). US teens are facing new hurdles, such as extra proof of citizenship prior to gaining a drivers license, and in a reversal of government policy, all dormitory freshmen "should be vaccinated for meningitis, a government panel recommended for the first time" (:WSJ), and that all 11 to 12 year old children should be so vaccinated (:FOX). In related news a push for testing everyone routinely for AIDS is meeting opposition as two large federally funded studies focus on "drug cocktails" early / screening (:FOX/New England Journal of Medicine). 40,000 people are infected each year with HIV in the US, totaling nearly a million (:FOX) although 30% don't know they have it (:ANC). February 11, 2005.
$100 Billion in exports from the US is a new record due to the weak dollar (:WSJ), hence cheap labor, making low priced products (:ANC). February 11, 2005.
Landmark legislation passed the Republican Senate removing some states rights regarding trial locations otherwise chosen by the plaintiffs (:WSJ), in other words, individuals stand to lose rights if victimized and indirect benefits such as local voice respect, victims lose rights of personal nature such as fewer appeal rights, states lose rights, and those accused gain an advantage as the rich corporate giants get richer steam-rolling along. Federal Congressman Mel Watt had previously told VGC Foundation President Dr. Bob Benchoff that he is very much in favor of states rights, and Dr. Bob Benchoff revealed the standardization Plan to ensure same, moreover explaining the importance of observing doctor/patient confidentiality, church/state values, and civic/private legislation parameters effecting Quadrillions of dollars. Yesterday Congressman Watt commented on President Bush's visit here, explaining the President didn't make sense. Today Dr. Bob Benchoff offered "If we don't like to see the cat carrying dead mice in it's teeth, that doesn't mean kill the cat. Republicans don't have their priorities straight. Republicans are increasingly contrary to their own US Declaration of Independence. The US Declaration of Independence is for all, so we should not let Iraqi liberty serve as justification for sinful ways by Republicans. Right in some of their areas, is not to be concluded as right in all of their areas, after all, chance and luck happen to them all, particularly among war-mongers. And it is not just Republicans that give their lives for the US, it is those who actually worked to serve their full term of duty without riding on coat-tails." (:ANC), with the newly reappointed House Government Reform Committee Chairman, Republican Tom Davis "blasting the federal government" over the $150 Billion/year spent to [prioritize] information to fight terrorism, saying "The reality is, we are incapable" of storing, transferring, and accessing information properly under this administration (:Informationweek magazine 1/10 p14). February 11, 2005.
"Machine Wars" were depicted on the cover of the I.W. magazine, showing nonhuman or barely human machines fighting each other (:Information Week 1/17 p26), while the [real life] event is now taking place in the heavens above as "XM and Sirius are duking it out in a multibillion-dollar battle to create a new industry.", with 4.1 million television subscribers between them paying $10 and more each/month, as Elon Musk, a "dotcom zillionaire" is expected to be the first totally privately funded company to reach orbit, to potentially "break the stranglehold" of NASA, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin. Northrop Grumman's TRW served as their cause to sue Musk's SpaceX over rights, who counter-sued (:Fast Company magazine features). February 11, 2005.
Top Five Labelers: Universal 29.59%, Sony-BMG 28.46%, Independent labels 17.37 %, Warner 14.468%, and EMI 9.90%; with the likes of Gwen Stefani taking market share. Usher's Confessions album sold most by far, 7,861,466, more than double the next top seller, and Usher tops the list of most played radio songs with Yeah! having had nearly half a million plays, and Burn having had 355,228 plays. The top ten grossing tours in 2004 were Prince, Celine Dion, Madonna, Metalica, Bette Midler, Van Halen, Kenny Chesney, Sting, Toby Keith, and Elton John at the top of the ticket price list at $158.22, followed by Madonna at $143.59, and by Celine Dion at $136.33 (:Rolling Stone 1/27 p12); with best quality music top 4 in 2004 Van Halen, Madonna, Metallica, and Elton John (:ANC). In related news, the all-time top belly buttons among females belong to Barbara Eden, Gwen Stefani, and Amanda Bynes. Among men, almost any of the wash-board type fit (:ANC). In other related news, in an interview with Amanda's dentist, "Amanda doesn't have any fillings--she has very healthy teeth." (:Amandaplease), causing her to be in top ratings of famous teeth, second only to Ross Gellar (:ANC). February 11, 2005.
Superbowl XXIX 24 to 21 New England Patriots with best player Bruschi wins over the Philadelphia Eagles with Westbrook their best player! An exciting never before tied game through the third quarter raised the crowd to fever pitched excitement. The crowd including Bush and Clinton continued close game enthusiasm through halftime singing sex and drug songs with Paul McCartney. Live songs were: Baby You Can Drive My Car, Jojo, Live and Let Die, and Hey Jude. With a 4 hour show time and a 1 hour technical game, that's a lot of advertising space. And all the game plays show subliminal advertising, if not blatant. Given the current Superbowl commercial rate, that comes to $1.2 Billion dollars (:ANC). 10:15PM February 6, 2005.
$2 Trillion "in the red" didn't seem to phase President Bush as he presented the State of the Union Address last night, proud of the "Sovern State of Iraq" (:CSPAN) while as portrayed on the Jon Stewart show, the President Bush seems to be anxious to go to war with Iraq (:ANC) as industrial giant GE is the most recent in a trend to stop seeking business with Iran (:WSJ). The President said he did not plan to get out of debt under his administration, but plans many budget cuts to cut the debt in half. He [surprised the public with mainline Democratic thinking by saying he] would put a medical center in every poor county. The President said he is in favor of nuclear power generation, along with clean renewable fuels to be less dependent on foreign energy. He called the tax code "archaic and incoherent" [as he did 4 years previous]. Stating 45 million people rely on Social Security, SS, [he seemed to guess at numbers], such as $300 Billion (Republican Ways & Means member Paul Ryan said $600 Billion in SS debt would be added / year [causing belief that Ryan should personally be audited by the IRS] (:Bloomberg)), to many boos and nos from the audience as he said SS would go bankrupt (:CSPAN). Harvard University Professor of Economics Dale Jorgenson said Bush was wrong to say SS would become "bankrupt", and that the move was political for the intentional purpose of hurting the Democrats (:Bloomberg) as those who are paying the most, the Baby-Boomers, are among the first to be cut (:ANC). Bush said he wants to take 4% out of payroll to go to his plan. Amid current concerns for the US to train Iraqi military, Bush stated his defense to his policy, letting NATO do it. In a race supposedly focused on moral principles President Bush sounded atheistic, saying about overcoming terrorism, "The only force powerful enough, is the force of human freedom." (:ANC/CSPAN). Minority Leader Senator Harry Reid said government must be held accountable, just as families are. He also said other nations are taking US jobs, and that the Bush speech was like the "movie Groundhog Day", and that Bush is "dangerous" cutting SS 40% and putting us $2 Trillion "in the red", and that Bush gives the "tax breaks to the wealthy". Representative Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Bush continues to leave the homeland unprotected, such as "still uninspected" railroads, shipping, & airlines, yet offered, "May God bless the United States of America." (:CSPAN). February 1, 2005.
$17 Billion in annual profit is "the biggest in corporate history" in great performance by "ExxonMobil" (:theage/London), and $8.42 Billion is a new profit record for a US "public company" quarter, set by "Exxon Mobil" (:WSJ). February 1, 2005.
"Breaking News", former President Clinton is appointed to head United Nations tsunami reconstruction (:CNN Noon). In related news, President Bush continues to find the camera, more than any president ever has, this time to report on the State of the Union; tomorrow (:ANC), while "facing strong Republican opposition" to his DOD cuts (:WSJ) raising concern as to the future of the Iraqi market (:ANC) and as the Dollar trails far behind the Yen and Euro (:ANC). February 1, 2005.
$2.2 Trillion in outlays ended the first George W. Bush administration with a $0.4 Trillion deficit, with "Law enforcement and general government" costing 150% times that when he took office. President Clinton left President Bush with no "Borrowing to cover deficit", today 17% of the budget is borrowed. Another alarming fact is the catergory inclusive of: food stamps, needy families, unemployment, and assisted housing. That poverty intensive area increased under the Bush administration from 17% to 21% of the US Budget (:ANC staff investigative reporting on federal government) amid concerns of increasing poverty as: the rich get richer and the poor get poorer; according to various sources (:ANC), such as the current SC Governor Mark Sanford "plan to lower the state's top income tax rate" (:Spartanburg Herald-Journal 1/20 B5); also as "Bush Ignores Reality of Social Security Funds" (:Bloomberg). In related news, combined with homeland security concerns, the war on drugs increasingly removes freedom from innocent US citizens (:FOX). In further related news, the US loses power under as "the Big Oil club was dominated by U.S. firms backed by U.S. diplomatic muscle. But now four of the world's six largest publicly traded oil companies are European" (:WSJ 1/18) as Bush conceded his politics didn't work and that his "only option" was war, while other nations increased deal-making as the US homeland went on the defensive and US offshore became tied-up as a result, such as very long Coast Guard hold times, catapulting US business costs ultimately to be paid by consumers; and the routine business flight ongoing nightmare stifling the economy, as businesses such as Delta can verify (:ANC) and as OPEC projects continued high fuel prices (:FOX). The current top ten "Energy Giants" are Exxon, US; BP, UK; Royal Dutch/Shell, Netherlands/UK; Total SA, France; ChevronTexaco, US; Eni, Italy; ConocoPhillips, US; Statoll, Norway; Repsol, Spain; and EnCana, Canada (:WSJ 1/18) with the top ten market total of $1.2 Trillion (:ANC) January 30, 2005.
Amid bombs exploding with many dying and being maimed, President Bush said the Iraqi election was a "resounding success" (:CNN) with over 1/3 of the population having cast their votes, it is a great tribute to those courageous souls that yielded-up their lives to make this possible (:ANC staff investigative reporting). In related news, Republican National Committee Chairman said "To capitalize upon the momentum from our victory we must act now." (:ANC / Chairman Ed Gillespie letter to Dr. Bob Benchoff). January 30, 2005.
$54 Billion Proctor & Gamble is paying for Gillette (:WSJ). In related news, Microsoft's net jumped to more than double, in it's fiscal second quarter, raising analysts expectations for the year (:WSJ). January 28, 2005.
$5 Trillion minimum is what "Wall Street analysts now predict will total" the astounding deficit. $2 Trillion is "what Bush wants to borrow" "to make up the immediate shortfall. It's also completely unnecessary," claims Princeton University's Economics Professor Paul Grugman: "You've been sold a scare story. Social Security has a large and growing trust fund." Bush is offering a "phony" plan. "The U.S. government is a big insurance company, with a side business in national security." "And some people stand to profit from abolishing it." In his "phony number", Paul explains, "instead of cutting the actual deficit," "Bush says he will cut the shortfall of $521 billion he erroneously projected last year.", making Bush look like a hero for having supposedly already raised money "that never existed. This is an analysis that would get an F in any kind of economics class.", as Bush left out "his biggest and most costly" spending. Here are some items Bush failed to mention in his plan: $2 Trillion for Social Security privatization, $1 Trillion "for the wealthiest Americans", the new half Trillion dollar Medicare program [and Republicans blame Democrats], high wage earner tax breaks, and $100 Billion for war. Paying for much of it "won't take effect until after Bush leaves office." As for Social Security, says Paul, "it's in much better financial shape than the rest of the federal government." (:Rolling Stone / National Affairs January 27, 2005). January 26, 2005.
One half Trillion dollars being approached, as the 2005 budget deficit "worsened", one of Bush's first acts in this office term is to look to further fund the Iraqi War (:WSJ) while raising the cap on taxable wages, raising the retirement age, increasing payroll taxes, and reducing starting benefits in Social Security (:ibid. Friday A4). In related news, "Holding Government Accountable" is the headline, with "outrage" over "senior government administrative officials" (:CFO magazine p10). January 26, 2005.
(:ANC). January 26, 2005.
$150 Billion dollars approximates the value of the top ten public acquisitions (:ANC). Top ten largest acquisitions of 2004: 1. Bank One/JP Morgan Chase, 2. AT&T Wireless/Cingular Wireless, 3. South Trust/Wachovia, 4. Sears/Kmart, 5. Rouse/GGP, 6. Charter One/Citizens, 7. Caesars/Harrah's, 8. Mandalay/MGM, 9. NCF/Sun Trust, and 10. Green Point/NFB (:CFO magazine p31). January 26, 2005.
