Rules
Yes, I realize there are alot, but these are what makes the game more organized, so please, read on!
_Members are expected to be on their best behavior at all times
_Swearing, porn, rudeness or anything of the sort will not be tolerated
_All members must be at least 13 years old to join SSS
_As a member, you are expected to follow Nikky's rules and to respect their decisions
_Members should try to get along and be friendly with each other
_Finances
_Upon joining, each member recieves $300,000 _You are responsible for keeping your own finance records
_Each expense or revenue is to be recorded in your bank account, or on a finance page on your stable
_Keep in mind that I will be checking finance records at any given time, so keep your records up to date
_Any payment or money exchange is to be done by a check
_Checks are to be written out like so:

_It is forbidden to simply 'give out' money to another member for no apparent reason
_Horses
_Upon joining, members will recieve 10 creation credits
_On the 1st of every month, members get 2 extra creation credits
_To exist in the game, you must post the horse on the 'New Horses' forum. This is like registering them
_Before registering any horse, make sure you have a place to keep them, be it a boarding stable, or your own stable
_All horses must have an individual page. They page must contain basics stats, show, race and progeny records, and, if available, pictures and a pedigree. You may also add other things, such as a description, to add a personality to you horse
_Re-creating real horses is not allowed, however, horses can have real horses in their pedigree
_You may own as many horses as you like, but make sure you have enough time and money to care for all of them! (ie. feed, vet, farrier, shows and races)
_If we see that your horses are being neglected, you will be given one warning. If as a results, nothing has changed, a second warning will be given, and after the third warning, your horses will be brought to a shelter, and you will be suspended for 5 days
_Over-showing, or over-racing is considered a form of neglect, so we suggest giving your horses a break from time to time
_No 2 horses may have the same name
_Breeding
_Stallions must be at least 3 years old to be bred
_Mares must be at least 4 years old to be bred
_Horses passed the age of 20 may not be bred
_It takes one week for a foal to be born
_Mares can only be bred once a month
_Race horses cannot be bred until they have been retired
_Pregnant mares cannot participate in shows
_Aging and Speed-Aging
_1 SIM year = 1 real year
_Speed aging is allowed
_If you speed-age one of your horses, make sure he/she is not the same age as the parents
_Foals have to be a minimum of 3 years younger than their sire (Starting December 1st 2004)
_Foals have to be a minimum of 4 years younger than their dam (Starting December 1st 2004)
_A horse may only be speed aged once in their life
_Health Care
_Horses must visit the vet once every 2 months
_Horses must visit the farrier once a month
_If it is discovered that your horse has health
problems, you must pay for the treatment and supplies necessary to help them recover
_Buisnesses and Associations
_Members are strongly encouraged to open up their own buisness or association
_Some ideas for buisnesses or associations are:
vet, farrier, tack store, stable supply store, specialty shop, breed association, discipline association
_To get your buisness or assocition approved, please fill in the buisness approval form
_If you open a buisness or association, make sure you have the time to keep it up to date
_Every buisness or association must have a site!
_Stables
_Upon joining, you can either choose to board your horses at one of our boarding stables, or create your own stable!
_If you feel that you are too busy to keep your stable up to date, we recommend that you board at a boarding stable
_All stables must have a complete, detailed and organized site
_If you make a stable, make sure there are no broken links or images
_To get your stable approved, please fill in the stable approval form
_Please include a disclaimer on all pages of your stable
_It is recommended that you have several pages to your stable, a description, facilities, and indiviaduat pages for your horses. You may also include anything else you like
_Shows and Races
_All shows and races must have a site
_Please be realistic when entering a show or race. So not enter horses in too many classes, or in classes or races they are not suited for
_Point System
_Champion: 115 pts
_Reserve-Champion: 105 pts
_1st: 100 pts
_2nd: 90 pts
_3rd: 80 pts
_4th: 50 pts
_5th: 40 pts
_6th: 30 pts
_7th: 20 pts
_8th: 10 pts
_Titles
_Champion (Ch.) - 1500 pts
_Grand Champion (GCh.) - 2000 pts
_Supreme Champion (SCh.) - 2800 pts
_National Champion (NCh.) - 3500 pts
_World Champion (WCh.) - 5000 pts
_Allsim/Intersim Rules
_Entering your horses from SSS in intersim/allsim shows or races is permitted, however, all all-sim earned points must be converted to the SSS point system
_You are permitted to breed your mare, or stallion to outside horses
_You are permitted to enter your horses in allsim evaluations
_Point Inheritance
_To get the amount of inherited points for your foal, add up the two parents points together. 10% of your total is the amount of points your foal has inherited
_Point inheritance may only be done once, when the foal is born
_Importing and Exporting
_Importing and exporting is allowed
_When importing a horse from another sim, previous show/race records DO count, however, you must convert previous points into the SSS point system
_When exporting a horse, please post on the "New Horses" forum
_Website Hosts
_You may NOT use expage.com when creating a site
_No stables, buisnesses or associations on message boards! However, you may include a message board
_Some good hosts: angelfire.com, geocities.com, brinkster.com, freepgs.com

_Copyright Laws
_Before taking a picture off some site, make sure it isn't subject to copyright, and please ask the owner for permission to use the picture
_NEVER hotlink pictures! Instead, we suggest uploading them to your website host, or a phot site, such as photobucket.com
