Funeral For A Friend, 31st July // The FFAF show was cancelled, due to Matt being ill. So sorry, no review.

Extreme Fest, 2nd August // Extreme Fest was really nifty. Although it started at 1, and we arrived at 12.. There were two catagories 'The Upstarts' - under 18's, and 'The Old Farts' - over 18's. Our trusty friends, All Tied Up and The Conspiracy Theory played in the first category. Cauldory (Methinks thats how you speel it) won that category, they were a v. good band but I think another band should've won.. (I won't say who) The second category had THE MISNOMER and SUCKA in it, as Sucka started to play thier sound went out, but once everything was working it was a v. good show. Then there were some crapp bands *Cough cough* and THE MISNOMER who might I say were extremely awsome. And, as they should have done, won the 'Old Farts' category. So The Misnomer and Cauldory(?) each got a half hour slot. Cauldory played first, yet I didn't listen (As I thought thier music was crapp...and I was too bust getting sun-burnt). So as thier slot came to an end everyone gathered to hear The Misnomer play (Not before Justin offered me some cheesy puffs, which I didn't accept. Nwaha. . . . thanks, Justin.). The Misnomer's half hour slot was extrememly nifty - and of course, they won the 250 smackers, aswell as playing one more song. All in all it was a good day...

Extreme Fest, 3rd August // The day was pretty slow, as there wern't many good bands. Alot of people only turned up to hear Sometimes A Fire. The day was good though, not too hott and not too cold. Plenty of grass fights, aswell as Lee singing on stage with a bunch of 10 yr olds, Sam and Kt dancing on stage with a band and Lee endlessly stripping (and getting his body signed). Not much to say, as not much happened. A fun day, however.

The Misnomer Launch Party, 16th August // We arrived quite early, so everyone was just standing around outside doing pretty much nothing. At rougly half-seven the doors opened, it was only a fiver and you got a free Misnomer CD (The new EP, which I already paid for..so now I have two. Grr.). Paradox played first, they were a v. good band, and they got the crowd going. Lee, Dom and Aaron started crowdsurfing (Should have photo's up soon..), it was a v. lively perfomance. There were long gaps between the bands so alot of people just went outside. I missed two bands, the first wasn't really my stylee, so I missed that one. And the second, I missed half of them as I was either in the toilets or down the shops. But they did sing a good Pirate song... hussah! So anyway, The Misnomer played last and it was a mighty good perfomance. They played all songs from their new EP, stopping after 'Hear You Scream' to say Happy Birthday to me (Wheeeyyyy). The right spker went out for a while, but soon came bk and all was well. They were in thier last song, 'My Honesty', where Ellis got rather annoyed with his geetar and started smashing it to pieces. Everyone grabbed the broken pieces and his geetar had dissapeared v. quickly. The show finished around 10:20 and by 11 everyone had gone. Except us. Because our lift had got lost. Pfft.
