About A Perfect Failure
Well, here goes. I wanted to create a solo side project
from my band the Unlikely Superheros. In school we have to do these senior
project things, and since I feel the whole idea is rather pointless,so I did something I
was going to do anyway. The name A Perfect Failure, came to me when I was
thinking about myself. No. I don't think that I am perfect, when it comes
to anything important-I fail, and I do it often. Practice makes perfect,
so, A Perfect Failure. The music is primarily accoustic guitar and my
vocals. I also have some keyboard in my songs as well as random other
noises.
The Style- "Post Emo Acoustic Alternative". I'm pretty sure I am the
first person to make up this title for a style of music. Alternative, because,
well what isn't? Acoustic for obvious reasons. Now comes post emo. This music is
not "emo." It has some inspiration in "emo" bands such as
Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional and The New Ampsterdams. The music is
very emotional and meaningful.
