When did Anal Cunt start and why?
Anal cunt started in the beginning of March 1988. I used to make up similar sounding bands for years before anal cunt; it was a hobby of mine. I never had any intention back then of it go ing as far as it did. I only hoped we would do 1 show and make one demo.
Where did you come up with the name Anal Cunt? What does it mean?
it has no meaning. I used to try and think of the stupidest and most ridiculous names for bands all the time. Another hobby of mine back then.
When and how did you first start getting into music?
I've been listening to music as long as I can remember. My parents used to play music all the time. I was born in 1968, so I was always hearing the Beatles,Jefferson airpla ne,and most of the hippie bands from around then. The first instrument I wanted to play was drums when I was around 5. I wanted to be like Mickey dolenz. Black Sabbath is the band that got me into wanting to play guitar in the 70's. I never really thought about being a singer.
What are your main influences in writing music?
Nothing really in writing music. Maybe early 80's fast hardcore. The original a.c. stuff wasn't influenced by anything except stuff I had preciously made up.
What bands are you currently into?
Negative approach,village people,death(before they had albums out),the f.u.'s,hellhammer,ptl klub,buckcherry,chicago,the raunchous brothers,old jerry's kids,old gang green,negative fx,slapshot,old venom,old slayer,culture club,bob welch's "fren ch kiss" lp,old psycedelic furs,ydi,vile(the early 80's hardcore band,not the new one),upsidedown cross,kilslug,the sickness,prince ital joe featuring marky mark,mc hammer,lee marshall,black sabbath,etc.
Is Anal Cunt the most offensive band in the world?
I haven't heard every band in the world. I'm sure we are one of them. \par }\pard \widctlpar\adjustright
What previous if any bands have you been in?
The only bands anyone would have heard of that I was in before anal cunt were executioner and Satan's warriors. I've been in lots of bands while I was in anal cunt.
What would you have described Anal Cunt's sound as?
The original stuff we used to do was probably the absolute noisiest and unmusical thing you could sound like using conventional rock and roll instruments. The later stuff was like if you took early 80's hardcore and death metal and made them way faster and heavier.
Why did Anal Cunt break up?
I was sick of doing it for a long time. 13 years doing the same band is a long time. The main reason it ended when it did was that I ha d just came back from being out of the state for a month. We had 2 shows lined up right when I got home. The whole place was filled with wiggers who were all there to see us. I was totally disgusted that these losers were there to see us. It bothered me t h at I couldn't go out and beat the shit out of all of them and ruin the place,because we needed the money from the show to pay band bills that had accumulated,and we were all broke.that was the last straw for me,and seemed like the right time to end it. In the old days, we would just fuck up every club,almost everyone in the crowd,and it didn't matter because we weren't going to get paid anyways. After we got more well known, all these faggots started coming to see us, and they were total pussies, who would call the cops, try to sue us, etc. most of the people who came to see us in the old days were the biggest assholes, most violent, drug addict, alcoholic, maniacs in that area, which was cool. no one was trying to sue us,call the cops,etc..basically because the fanbase got really gay.
What do you plan on doing now?
I'm already working on 2 new bands now, plus I'm moving to Texas in march/April.

pantera,morbid angel,white zombie,deftones,anthrax,seven minutes of nausea,patareni,fear of god(the swiss one),napalm death,exodus,eyehategod,the boredoms,merzbow,borbetomagus,vaginal jesus,carnivore,cannibal corpse,the mentors,slapshot,slayer,the list is REALLY long,it would take forever to name them all.
