We would like to let the world know: Avril Lavigne of Napanee Canada SUCKS. No questions asked, she just sucks major ass. Okay, you might ask us why. We just might tell you why. She calls herself a "punk skateboarding chick." Yet, her music is clearly pop, and she herself has stated that she isn't good at skating at all. This makes her the most famous poser of them all. We know this site proclaims that it welcomes posers, but Avril Lavigne is too much, considering the fact that we also hate pop music. Her "hit" single 'Complicated,' is overplayed on every single radio station. The video gets overplayed on MTV and of course the Canadian MuchMusic. We have no problem with Canada, really, we like the place. But it seems to have a problem with giving us Americans "punk" band/singers that are so pop, it's not even funny (ex. Avril Lavigne, Sum 41). Also to note: Avril Lavigne has no talent, whatsoever. She can't sing, and she probably can't even play the guitar. That guitar she "plays" in the Complicated video? Merely a prop. Avril Lavigne is making annoying little teenyboppers who listen to her "music" think they are "punk." Listening to Avril Lavigne makes you nothing but a trend-follower. She's the "coolest" thing now, and whatever the "coolest" thing is next, they'll like that even more. Furthermore, to all those crazed Avril fans out there: we don't care what you have to say defending Avril. We know what we know. Feel free to send us hate mail. It's rather amusing. Life is too short to get mad over morons like yourselves. |
