We will use your gift towards textbooks, pens, pencils, notebooks, software, counseling, and instruction for our students. Help a single mother of three escape an abusive husband, find housing, and learn the English and computer skills needed to secure a job and live independently. Provide resume writing and job interviewing workshops to immigrants who are trying to secure work in their new country. Offer another chance to a high school drop-out with the opportunity to obtain her GED and go on to college. These are just a few examples and be assured that your gift will make communities in Greater Boston better, safer, places to live.
We also welcome and accept:
1. New or gently used textbooks and workbooks for ESOL, GED, or computer instruction
2. Pens, pencils, notebooks, English-Spanish dictionaries, folders, white-out, and any school supplies
3. Computer software, preferably educational
4. Computer monitors, hard drives, keyboards, printers (NEW ONLY, please)
5. New or gently used toys for our daycare, educational preferred
6. Ideas for projects, lesson plans, curriculum or program development
7. And more!
