WARNING
THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE MAY CONTAIN SUBJECT MATTER OF A CONTROVERSAL NATURE. IT IS THE OPINION OF THE WRITER AND SOLELY THE WRITER.

You've been warned…

I'd like to start this editorial by quoting a song.
Guns N Roses "Civil War"

"What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach... So, you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it! Well, he gets it! N' I don't like it any more than you men."

"WE PRACTICE SELECTIVE ANNIHILATION OF MAYORS AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS FOR EXAMPLE TO CREATE A VACUUM THEN WE FILL THAT VACUUM AS POPULAR WAR ADVANCES PEACE IS CLOSER"

That's it.
I've had enough.
Reading newspapers since September has driven me to say this:

THIS WAR AND TERRORISM STUFF IS BULLSHIT.

There, I've said. I've been wanting to since I saw people OVEREACTING when it first struck and these new stories aboot US killing Canadians just made my tongue move. Finally.

Here we are, feeling pity and sorrow for the Canadian families who have lost loved ones. 4 of our soldiers were killed in some accident. WOW. And here we are pouring our hearts out to these people, asking for an investigation into what has happened, and basically being total ass-clowns. You know what I think? I think we killed a lot more innocent people in these third world countries and no one seems to drop a tear. Let's be honest people, we have no facts as to the Sept 11 tragedy, and here we are accusing this big asshole that lives in a cave. Yes, in my opinion, it was his organization, but do we have any proof? Oh wait, there is proof. Information discovered merely 48 hours after the planes crashed; we knew THE EXACT IDENTITIES of the "terrorists" on these planes. We have bodies still being discovered in the rumble in NYC, but we have THE EXACT IDENTITIES of turban heads (who's racist now?) who also perished in these incidents. Hmmm…Smells fishy to me, but I ain't talking aboot eating it.

Maybe it's just me, but how can the same country who pinpointed the mastermind of these "attacks" merely 2 days following the events not be able to have a fucking fair presidential election?

Now don't get me wrong. I feel awful for anyone who lost loved ones, but that includes flag waving Americans, Canadians, the Israelis and the Palestinians AS WELL as the Afghanis. They've all lost human beings to mindless acts of violence. And to anyone who says the Americans had no other choice than to fight back, think about this…How about not doing anything?

Seriously. Look at the insanity that has swept the country (as well as ours) as security is doubled, tripled, fucking ten fold the times it was. The people who caused the NYC attacks, whoever they are (remember innocent until proven guilty?) got their message across, and now they are laughing their asses off at us. No one from their camp has paid for anything. It is plain and simple; the Americans were outdone and outsmarted. But they continue this silly façade for no reason other than to make the illusion they weren't beaten at their own game.

What I also find funny is the way the Americans have voiced their opinion aboot how Israel shouldn't fight back the Palestinians. Huh? Hypocrite says what? We can fight these terrorists without any proof of whom they are, but also have the balls to tell Israel "NO BOMBING".

Justin and I aren't assholes when you compare us to Americans.

I'd like to end on the same song I started quoting, but in full. Please read the whole thing.

Guns N Roses "Civil War"
Look at your young men fighting
Look at your women crying
Look at your young men dying
The way they've always done before
Look at the hate we're breeding
Look at the fear we're feeding
Look at the lives we're leading
The way we've always done before

My hands are tied
The billions shift from side to side
And the wars go on with brainwashed pride
For the love of God and our human rights
And all these things are swept aside
By bloody hands time can't deny
And are washed away by your genocide
And history hides the lies of our civil wars

D'you wear a black armband
When they shot the man
Who said "Peace could last forever"
And in my first memories
They shot Kennedy
I went numb when I learned to see
So I never fell for Vietnam
We got the wall of D.C. to remind us all
That you can't trust freedom
When it's not in your hands
When everybody's fightin'
For their promised land

And I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war

Look at the shoes your filling
Look at the blood we're spilling
Look at the world we're killing
The way we've always done before
Look in the doubt we've wallowed
Look at the leaders we've followed
Look at the lies we've swallowed
And I don't want to hear no more

My hands are tied
For all I've seen has changed my mind
But still the wars go on as the years go by
With no love of God or human rights
'Cause all these dreams are swept aside
By bloody hands of the hypnotized
Who carry the cross of homicide
And history bears the scars of our civil wars

I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
And I don't need your civil war
I don't need your civil war
I don't need your civil war
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war
I don't need one more war
I don't need one more war

Whaz so civil 'bout war anyway

Thanks Axl, what is so civil aboot war anyways?
