Rules of PPP

The Few Obligations For Using My Site--please respect them--and know that I'm not trying to be bitchy.

1. I hate them and I know you hate them too--the little error messages people put up to disable the "right-clicking" graphics....er.... graphics.... "sharing." I used to get really P.O.'d when people did that, but after making all of my dolls I understand why. So here's where you come in: I promise I won't stop you from taking any graphics on my site (provided they aren't part of my layout/design) AS LONG AS you get them from the pages I've designated for you (i.e. the pages which are entitled "Dolls" anything or are under the "Dolls" section of the menu--MINUS THE CONTESTANT ENRIES). If I find you took one (or more) of the dolls without credit or worse yet, taken my layout, expect me to find you. And get you. }:>

2. Have the courtesy to link back to me at http://www.ppp.dot.nu (linking with banners would be greatly appreciated) if you take a doll. If you want me to link to you, send me your site addy and I'll check it out. (:

3. ABSOLUTELY NO DIRECT LINKING. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you probably don't do it (direct linking=linking to the image's [doll's] URL). Here's the deal--to take a doll, right click on it, then when the menu comes up, go to the "save as" option to save it to your hard drive. When you want to put the doll on your site, you need to upload the doll by choosing the browse option and selecting the doll from where you saved it to on your hard drive. Got it? Good. :)

4. Please don't put the dolls into graphics collections, picture tubes, layouts, contests, etc. Also, I grant special permission (on occasion) to use parts of my dolls for other projects. DO NOT attempt to EDIT OR TAKE SNIPPETS of dolls w/o emailed permission form moi.

5. I make these dolls and run this site because I love to share my dolls with other people who can appreciate them, but if I find these common sense rules are being broken and my site abused, I have no qualms about shutting my site down. I have no personal responsibilities or obligations to keep this site up, so be nice, people! :) Hopefully it will never have to come down to that, though.
