SEPTEMBER - 2002

What's up people.. well, I got some good news, and some bad news. Good news, is I finally found a band here in Burbank, that I am now officially in, called Five Points Up. The bad news, is that I'm stepping out of the other 2 bands I'm in. Acidtone, and .. from what I know of, "Reseda Blvd" or something. It's hard to say goodbye to Acidtone, because it was my first band.. but sometimes you just have to move on to be happy. But still, thanks guys... It was fun while it lasted.

Friday, I stayed up until 5AM (which made it Saturday). Anyway, I was online searching for band members here in Burbank. I was able to find 2 sites. One of the sites had this ad, talking about they needed a 2nd guitar player who's influences are Blink, and things like that. I thought it was perfect. I emailed the person as soon as I could. That's when it started...

Saturday was a lot of fun.. really really weird, but.. wasn't bad. I was able to come home with 12 bottles of Smniroff Ice, and 2 or 3 bottles of Hard Lemonade. Yippe! Anyway..

Sunday after feeling totally hungover, I checked my email, and was told that there's a practice tomorrow (Monday) and that to call him. After I fell asleep for a good.. 2 hours or so, I called him. (Him being Paul.. the bassest). I was excited this whole day... I couldn't wait to get out of work, so I could start jamming. As soon as Paul, Chris, and Sean all showed up, and I got in the car.. things seemed to sort of click then. I was met Paul (18) face to face, and then I met Chris (20).. who plays guitar, and sings/writes the songs... then there's Sean (17) who's the youngest.. he's the drummer. Anyway, we got to Paul's, and I listened to them play. With Chris's bright plucking at strings, Paul's catchy as fuck bass riffs, and Sean's fast drumming, the sound that emitted from these guys was almost like gold. It was then I was nervous.. because I felt like I couldn't help them very much. Well, at the time, I couldn't come up with anything good.. and I was kind of sad about that.

They wanted me to sing, just to see if I knew how to. I played, and sang "Damnit" by Blink 182, while Paul played bass to help me along. Chris was in awe, and Sean totally dug how I sounded. Then, Chris and I both sang "Blow Job" by Blink, and it was then we all realized that Chris and I have the same voice, and we harmonize perfectly. We even pronounce our words a lot alike. After playing some songs of my own, and some of my fastest riffs, it was then Chris and Paul knew I was it. It was also then I realize that the band is called Five Points Up... I also realized that Paul sounds exactly like Mark Hoppus, and Chris sounds exactly like Tom DeLonge from Blink 182. Funny.. I sound like Tom as well.

I went with Chris to his house, and it was there, him and I played together until 9:30PM in his living room. His dad helped us along by playin' his bass during the beginning.. but later on, it was just Chris and I. He was really cool about the whole thing, and what I like the most about him, is he didn't give a fuck how many times we played a song. Chris and I both connected very well, and things just went good. I'm happy as shit to finally meet people who play music.. and now I have a feeling that Chris, Paul, and Sean are gunna be the closest friends that I have right now. Especially Chris, because him and I are just too much alike. I'm lookin' forward to hangin' out with Paul, because he just seems like such a kick ass person, that times with him will probably never be dull. Anyway, all 3 of them are on my friends page, as one person for now.. soon, they'll have their own little spot.
Well, thats pretty much it for now. I'll update again about how our 2nd practice goes. Cya later.

Hello fellow readers. Wow, this week was hellish. Things are a lot better then they were now. Anyway, I don't have much to say, because I'm not in a very talkitive mood, but Angelfire is being a dick, and it's not letting me upload anything big (like my mp3's) god damn those fucks! This means I can't upload my music now. Which, probably doesn't matter to you guys anyway. I still have old ones up, but I made 2 new ones. One is called "Questionable Reason" and the other is called "Destroyed Flesh, Destroyed Life". Both are pretty good songs. Destroyed Flesh, Destroyed Life is just like "When It Comes To Us" except it's a more serious song, and it's just better.

But, as I'm sure some of you have already noticed, there is an HTML of my site now available for those fuckers who couldn't get in before. Well, you guys aren't really fuckers, but... it just added more of an effect... to..... making me look even more stupid. Anyway... so yeah, maybe now everyone can enjoy this pile of shit I call a website. If Angelfire continues to be gay, I may move this site to another mother ship.

For all of you that want to know what's goin on in ToRRey's life, I'm most likely gunna buy a beltbuckle from Heartagram Belt for $22. I'm most likely gunna write a check tomorrow, and send it out. I can't wait to get it! I'm glad I decided to put off getting the Green Day one, because I think this buckle is worth it. Anyway, Things have calmed down a whole lot, and, things are better right now. I have 2 friends of mine who are not feeling so hot, and I can realate to everything they tell me, almost needle-point. If they're reading, I just want them both to know that I'm always around to talk with, and that I hope they start to see things better, then how they do now. And that I love both of them.. :\

Well, I have no work tomorrow, and I have shit to do..... but tomorrow is MARVIN'S BIRTHDAY So happy birthday to him, and for all of you who know Marvin, make sure to tell him Happy B Day, and hug the dumb sum bitch! He's such a great person! Anyway, that's all. Thanks for reading.
P.S. - Bam Margera has been added to my friends list, finally. Also, I updated some of my "friends" so check to see if yours says anything new!**

After two long days, another update has hit! Well, for starters.. Angelfire is being a dick, and it's not letting me upload one of my new songs.. Hollywood Way. On another note, I took out older songs, and only have new ones up there. Soon, there will only be 1 song available for download like.. every week.. but check out the ones that ARE up!

Friday, I bought new strings. A pair of Skinny Top Heavy Bottom guitar strings, and Hybrid Slinky bass strings. The bass strings sound AWESOME, and I've been recording some stuff with it. I made a bass solo, which is available for DOWNLOAD in my music section..... so GO!

On Saturday Sabrina and I went to a get together for a friend of ours. The night was pretty cool. Selena, Andrew, Kristie, Rodger, Cory, Jimmy, Marvin, Ashley, Sharlott, Sabrina, and I were all at a bowling alley. We had a lot of fun. We only played 1 game... which of course, ended up being girls vs boys (Cory was on the girls team cause they were short 1). Our lanes ended up getting shut off during the middle of our game, because we only paid for 11 people, and we entered one more person (making 12). The 12th person was both me, and Rodger (so we can make it 12 on 12). Well, it ended up cutting us off, because the computer thought someone was playing for free. Anyway, we got to finish our game, and that was that.

Around the end of the night, we all were standing outside waiting for rides. It was pretty cool to be runnin' around and being loud with everyone else. It was cool to see Marvin again as well. Sabrina and I ended up getting a ride with Rodger, Kristie, Jimmy, and Cory. It was great to see Cory again, but the whole time he was on a cell phone talking to his g/f... so I didn't get to really talk to him.. which sucks. By the time Sabrina and I were dropped off, it was then Cory said bye to me. It was a short one, but what do you expect. I just .. wanted more time with him I guess.. he's a close friend, and to see him spend almost all of his time with his g/f, and then even more over the phone, just sucks...

Anyway, Today Sabrina and I went to the mall. It was really really hot. Anyway.. so, I almost bought her a pair of Vans, but the kinds she wanted were either a half size too small, or too big. Anyway, that's pretty much all that happend in the past 2 days really. Next weekend, I plan on going to see LS7, along with other bands.. which should be kick ass! Until then... this is ToRRey, signin' off! (Not really, I'm still on AIM..)

Work, was work. The boys from LS7 decided to come into today (They're in my scrap book). Work was kind of cooler when Rodger Bumpass came into Del again. I told him that I'd put him on my update... and he then asked me for my web site. So, I wrote my address down for him, and gave it to him. He was like, "What a mouthful" (because my sites adress is pretty long). Anyway...

I was let off from work at 3PM, instead of 4. I got home, and pretty much just started working on a new song that I thought of on my way to work. Earlier I was thinking about how Green Day wrote the song Christie Road, and how people seem to take something that meant nothing... a non working railroad track, and make it known. While walking to work, I looked up at the street sign, and realized how it said "Hollywood Way" and I then thought.. it was a perfect motivational idea for a song. Who knows... maybe someday I'll actually be someone, and someday, people will go to that Del Taco, knowing I worked there, knowing that Hollywood Way was right outside. They'll go, and order a Double Del (my favorite) and sit in my spot (in the corner on the right side)... sort of like how people go to Sombrero's and order burritos and sit where Blink used to (or still does sometimes). Yeah, these are just things that run threw my mind all day.

So, I ended up completing Hollywood Way.. so watch for it, because it will be available for download sometime soon. Also, Im thinking about taking out all of the mp3's, and only putting the new songs I have.. one at a time. I'll leave them up for about a week, then put up a new one. Since I make a new song almost everyday, this should be interesting .. (not like anyone downloads my music, but still). Thats it for now!

I went into work today, feeling kind of tired. My manager ended up talking to me about well, the things he doesn't like about my working abilities. He said basically that I stand around too much, and that I always come in to work too tired or something. He's probably right, but everyone still gets their food, and things are fine... blah him. On another note, Paul came in again today (the guy I met before who played "Bulk" on the Power Rangers). When I saw him come up to my register, I said, "Hey Paul.. someone I thought I'd never see again" and he was all smiles and stuff. I talked to him a bit, and asked him what he was doing with his life now. He said a lot of stuff is going on. I think he said he works for Disney, and also he's doing plays too. I told him about me possibly working at Warner Brothers, and how I also want to be a musician. He said to play both cards, and later on, I'll realize which one isn't going to work out.. and to just follow my dreams.
After that, him and his girlfriend/wife? ordered. They both got 2 Ultimate tacos, and a small drink. After they finished, we talked again, and I asked him if would I see him again, and he said of course, he works right down the street. Then I said, "Cool.. then we can hang out and be buddies" he laughed and said, "I've already got a skinny friend!". So, he rejected me even though I was joking, lol...

Last night, after I updated, I decided to be creative, and destroy my guitar. Well, not litterally, but I changed the way it looks. I covered the silver connection (where the cord goes in for the amp) in black electrical tape. I taped an oval Green Day sticker to my pick guard, under the strings. It's a pink bike, with ribbons attached to the end of the handle bars. Then, on the left side (sort of where the strap connects) I taped a yellow pick that was used by Billie Joe at one of the Pop Disaster concerts. Then, I taped a glow in the dark plastic star next to my volume knob. Above that, I made an "X" with the tape. Then, to finish it off, I taped a zipper to my guitar. Yes, a zipper.... works and everything. It's basically on the opposite side of where the volume knob is. All this was done with electrical tape.. and it doesn't look too bad actually. I think I'm going to leave it this way. Yep.

After putting my check in my account (now Im a lot more richer!) I worked on 2 songs when I got back home. The first one is called "Hate" that has words, but just aren't recorded. It's the one song I have that is fast, and played with an angry tone. The other song is called, "86 Cacophonies". It's completed, and is now availble for download in my music section.. so check it out.. please? Thanks.

    2:04 PM

Yeah, it's been a few days, but here it is.. the update!
I woke up yesterday morning (Tuesday) around 8:30'ish. I was tired as hell, cause I was running on about 4 hours of sleep. For some reason, while taking my morning pee, I decided that I wanted to surprize people and show up at Del Taco down in Van Nuys. So, after talking with Justin on AIM (who I haven't talked to in forever!) I called into work, and told my manager I couldn't make it in because I had an important family meeting type thing. He didn't sound to happy, because I had already missed Monday, and here I was... calling in Tuesday, saying I couldn't make it. Bah!

I skated up to Washington Mutual to see if my Visa Check Card was working. It finally does. That's a goof thing, because I can now use it! Whahah!! ... anyway, so when I got home, I played guitar until 1 something. I decided to bring a Mini Disk player which I haven't used in ages. I was going to make a Mini Disk, but the small cable that connects to the USB plug, and the MD player itself, is missing! Since I wasn't able to add new music to the MD's... I just recharged the battery, and headed off with MD's that were already created.
I left my house around 1:30PM. I got down to Van Nuys around 2:50PM. God damn, I fucking hate bus rides. Since I had the MD player to listen to (I was singing all the way there) it wasn't so bad. By the time I reached Del Taco in Van Nuys, the battery was pretty much dead.

So, I walk into Del to see Sabrina sitting next to Shant (of course) and on the other side was Josh, and Alex. Anyway, as soon as school let out, and everyone came into Del, it was when it got cool. I got to see a lot of people I haven't seen for awhile. I felt completly comfortable there, and I was actually really happy... something I haven't felt for awhile. I think the most funniest part was when I freaked out on Lucas, and wrapped my arms around him, and started talking in this weird ass mouse voice, saying, "I love Lucas!" then I gave him a crooked peck on his cheek. He turned red and started laughing so hard, as well as everyone else... hahaha... yeah, good times! I also got to spend time and talk with a good friend of mine, Vanessa.

As the day slowed down, Josh ended up giving people rides home, and since I was headed to where he was gunna end up passing, he decided to take give me one too. Josh and I talked a bit earlier about me recording a demo. I would play guitar, rythem guitar, bass, and I'd sing as well. I'm thinking about having Jaime from Acidtone do the drumming. Josh is talking about $120 for 4 songs. I was able to talk him down to $80 for 4... which, I don't know.. maybe I can still work something out.

I got to Sabrina's house, and sat around there. After being all crabby, we went to subway and ate. I got to use my cool ass Visa card! but yeah..

I started working on yet another song, which is one of the most complicated ones I have yet. It's not like Mindless that bacially has long lines of words sung together quickly with no break, but the guitar for this new song is more complex. I'm not sure what to title it, but I have the song recorded, and the typed lyrics done too. So, keep an eye out for a NEW song. (For all of those who haven't downloaded "Mindless" yet.. DO IT.. before I put this new one up!

That's pretty much all of the update really. I'm seriously going to be doing this demo sometime soon with Josh.. but, I need to talk with Jaime, becuase he's gotta learn the songs.. and blah blah. Well, I have work today, so I probably should leave soon. Even though Im not even gunna go to bed yet (and it's like 2:18AM) I'm still saying goodbye!... so..... BYE!

    10:03 PM

First, the site update. I have now made it so that any new updates (like this one) show up here. The old ones are in the Archives. That means when I update again, this will end up in archive! Yeah, it's crazy!

Anyway, so Hollywood was pretty good. First, Sabrina and I went to the Wax Museum ($23). She'd never been there before, and I thought she'd like it. There was a bunch of new things in there that I never saw the last time. They have Hugh Hefner (who looked the most real out of all) Star Wars Episode I charactors, Jay Leno, Julia Roberts, N'Sync, Harry Potter, Austin Powers, Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie as Tomb Rader, Mark Walberg and 2 apes from Planet of The Apes, as well as some others.
It was funny, because there is the detour called "Chamber of Horrors" which, was pretty fucking dark. So, we decided to go in. Now, I've been inside before, but I didn't remember what was in there. Sabrina asked me, "Does anything jump out in there?" and I told her no. We go inside, and see some pretty creepy models. Then of course, we see this wax head behind this glass box thing, and then this god damn bloody clown head shoots up from out of no where! Scared us for a second, but we shook it off. We kept going, and then something fell down from the roof and scared the shit out of Sabrina. It was then she wanted to get out, and quickly! (I was pretty scared too)Anyway, from what I can recall, inside the chamber was Frankenstien, The Wolfman, Dracula, A spot for Hannible Lector (but he wasn't there, which made me wonder if he was running around) Pinhead, the bedroom scene from The Exorcist, Jason, The Crypt Keeper (looked real, but then again, it's fake in the first place) Leather Face, Michael Myers, ... some others too. Anyway, when we reached the end of it, it took us to the next room, which we would have ended up even if we didn't go in the chamber, so it worked out good.

After that, we went to an outdoor mall on Hollywood and Highland. It was alright. There was a latin band playing the whole time we were there. So, first I bought her a pair of sunglasses ($14) which she'll probably wear all of the time, just like me! After that, we headed into Hot Topic, and I went around the store like 3 times, to make sure I saw everything. They had this great Apu Kwik-E-Mart button up shirt, that said "Apu" on the front, and said, "Thank You Come Again" on the back. It was $40, and I wanted it!.. but not that bad. Also, they had a "Pinheads" one that had Homer, Moe, and.. uh, the other ones!
Anyway, I ended up buy myself a black shirt, with a star outlined in red on it ($13). I was looking around for things to get Sabrina, but couldn't find much. Of course, right when I'm about to go to the check stand, I see a Blink 182 shirt I know she wanted. So, I got it for her ($20).

After that, we sort of got lost and decided to take the stairs to see the Hollywood sign. We/I ended up opening random doors, and kept running into dark ass rooms, with big windows down the end of it, which showed all of Hollywood sort of. It was really cool, but Sabrina was like, "Okay, I know we're not allowed in here".

Anyway, so we ate at Johnny Rockets ($11.66) I had a Rocket Double, and Sabrina had a hot dog. We then went to Starbucks ($3) and listened to the Latin band which finally finished. After that, we left the mall, and headed for the bus stop. We sat down, and waited... and of course, the bus passes us by. Sabrina was mad, because she didn't wanna walk anymore, and we had an HOUR to go before the next bus. So yeah, we went into a store, and I found contacts that were $20. They had blues, purple, gray, browns, greens, and some other not so rare colors. I'm seriously thinking about buying the purple or blue ones for Sabrina, and the gray ones for me.

Well, we finally got on the bus, and got home around 11 something. That was pretty much my night. Today, Hector came over (haven't seen him in awhile). He was pretty burned out over some personal problems. He's not even sure if he wants to do the cobalt anymore. I'll keep you updated about that.

Well, that's pretty much it for this BIG update. I decided to cancel work tomorrow, and call Jason from Warner Brothers tomorrow, to see what's up with his job offer. I'll let you guys know what happneds with that. That's it for now. Cya!

    12:31PM

Hey guys. I'm listening to the Metallica S&M .. great album!
Let's see.. let's start with a site update. I've added 2 new songs to my music section. One is called "Another Kid Problem" and the other is "Mindless" which I think sounds 10 times better then the other. I really think you should check them out, and give me some feed back!

On to other news, I was offered a job at Warner Brothers yesterday. This guy walks in, wearing a WB "COMP OPS" shirt, and a WB ID card around his neck. Now, alot of people come in from WB to eat at Del, because WB is really close. For some reason, before he ordered, I asked him what it was he does at WB... and he looked at me, asked me my age, and said to give him a call. I was a amazed! So I came home and told my mom, and she was happy for me. I called him, and he said he talked with his boss, and said that I need to call him back (The Comp Ops guy.. Jason) on Monday, and that we'd start filling out paper work. So.. NO MORE DEL TACO FOR ME!!!!! WAHAHAH... well, maybe.

So yeah, not too much else is going on. I plan on going to the Wax Museum in Hollywood today. That should be somewhat interesting. I've been there one time before, and now, hopefully, there's a few new things there. Im looking forward to seeing Marty McFly and Doc Brown there (The wax figures, you idiots).

Vanessa and Janinne got to meet/see Taproot last night at The Roxy. Vanessa also told me she met the guitarist from System Of A Down as well. Sounds like she had a great night! Taproot will be playing again tonight, same place, same time... Im sure tickets are sold out, but oh well

That's pretty much all for now. Keep checking back for updates. The Archive page is probably gunna be up sometime soon, and then this page will only have 1 update (the newest one) All others will end up in the Archive. Cya guys later!

5:52PM

Howdy. Yeah, seems kind of early for me to update, doesn't it? Anyway, I added Amanda's picture to my friends page. Now, instead of her being at the bottom, she's number 2... since it's in alphabetical order.

Well, now that September 11th has passed, we can all forget about the Twin Towers, and go back to normal life again. Life at Del Taco was the time, except something new happend... I got to meet Rodger Bumpass who does the voice for Squidward

on the show Spongebob Sqaurepants! He's done more then Squidward, he's also done voices for Invader Zim (Professor Membrane), Lilo & Stitch, Monsters Inc, Toy Story 2, A Bugs Life, Bio-dome (Narrator), The Toxic Crusaders, The Real Ghostbuters (Louis Tully (1989-1991), and The Jetsons. These are just a FEW things he's done in his career!
He came in, wearing a "Spongebob Crew" shirt. I told him I liked it, and he said, "Thanks, I work on the show" It was then I found out who he was. He even did a small act for me. Yep, pretty cool.

Lots of weird things seem to happen almost everyday at work. Like this guy comes in often, and orders the same thing, but he always sticks his head over my register to make sure Im pressing the "CHK WORKS" button, as well as other things he orders. Fuck, he even tells me where the damn buttons are, as if I don't know! Argh!

Everyday a bunch of mailmen/women come in and order the same things, and they all sit together like a big hang out. It reminds me a lot of the whole "Del Taco Tuesday" down in Van Nuys with friends of mine. Also, this one new guy has now joined them. He always seems super excited about being there with them. When he orders, he's always got a big grin on his face. For some reason, he reminds me of Shant (Even though he looks nothing like him. You can find Shant on my friends page).

2 days ago, the local band LS7 came into Del Taco, with a bunch of people (You can see pictures of LS7 in my scrap book page). Anyway, when I realized who they were, I felt excited, as if they were celeberties or something. Maybe it was because I really liked the way they played, and I wish I was in a band like they are. They have a show in Whittier, at a roller rink. If you wanna check out there site, go to http://www.ls7punk.com. But anyway, I felt pretty bad about myself, because I'm stuck behind a counter working with people who have terrible english skills, while they were all sitting in a big group, talking with friends. Sometimes I'm pretty embarrassed about my job.

I made 2 new songs, both instrumental, but I'm gunna put in lyrics for one, or maybe both. I'll upload them soon, so KEEP CHECKING on them (only if you even care about my music). Also, I put up Shant, Alex, and Lucas's site banners. That's it. Thanks for reading Sabrina, Shant, and now LUCAS!

Howdy fellow reader(s?). Not too much to talk about today. First off, I added Minda's picture to my friends page, so, yay for that. Also I added Tim's picture that he digitaly remodified. It's in the "Other" section, so check that out too.
Let's see... anything interesting... Well, I overslept today, and was late to work by a good 45 minutes. I almost didn't go. I was stuck between going to work, or ditching and going to Del Taco in Van Nuys and hang with friends. Well, I went to work. I started writing a really good song during my 10 minute break, and now it's complete with music and all. I'm thinking about singing the lyrics, and uploading it.. which means I'll be getting rid of the "When It Comes To Us" song, and the new one which I titled, "Another Kids Problem" will take it's spot. It's basically my outlook on my position in life as of now. It's got a catchy bridge, so keep checking my music section for when I upload it, and check it out. Also, you should let me know how my music sounds by emailing me (stlbsswt@hotmail.com) or AIM'ing me (heartagram18) and tell me what you think.

I had a horrible scare today, which seemed to ruin the rest of my night. I thought I'd be playing Kingpin until 3 in the morning, but here it is.. 2am, and still no urge to. I just feel like, sitting and listening to music. Anyway... today is the infamous September 11th, so go ahead and light a candle for the people that died. Well I know I won't, because I'm sick, and could care less if a plane ran into my own house. Anyway, that's it. I leave you with this -

"I know you want us to play more, but that's all the time we have so you can turn off now!" - Howlin' Pelle from The Hives

    1:22AM

I've gone threw a slew of emotions today. First off, when I woke up, I felt so tired, and my eyes hurt a lot. By the time I got to work, it was pretty slow, and I had nothing to do. I wasn't talktive at all, and didn't say hi to anyone. Later on, I noticed that a fire had started up in the mountains. Yada yada..

Work went by pretty quick, but my legs and back are starting to get sore from standing 5 hours everyday. After my shift was over, I was glad to go home. I sat around for a bit, nothing new really happend. I tried to make conversation with Christina (online friend) but it just doesn't seem to work anymore. It's as if I'm not important to talk to anymore. Fine. This is just how I feel, I could be wrong. I ended up letting my friend Josh spend a good 2 hours or so playing Kingpin. He really likes it. Since 12, I've been playing it. It's the only time I get to run around and kill people, and let go of a lot of crap thats on my mind.

Then, I call my girlfriend, just to end up in a shitty mood. First some crap that seems never ending from a friend of her's. Then, I heard that there is more talk about how Acidtone sucks, and just hearing people say that bugs me, because some people just can't seem to accept different types of music. Everythings gotta sound the same. Fuck that, I like difference. Then it just seemed like everything my girlfriend told me (her social life) just bugged me even more. Why? I think it's jealousy. I feel like I'm losing touch with everyone in my life, and it hurts a lot. It's like, when I ask her how her day was, she's got a 10-15 minute story. When she asks me mine, all I can honestly tell her is "I worked, nothing new really. Came home, went online, played such and such... called you". Just knowing that this is how my life is right now, really sucks, and I wish I had something else to do. Now, it's as if writing these updates is fucking pointless really, because no one wants to hear other people's problems. Besides, I'm sure that there are only 2 people who read this crap. Shant, and Sabrina. That's it. So, hi you two.

I just fixed my Scrap Book, and added a new link to my links page. No one has told me if they like my cool banner that’s on top of all of my pages. You know, the one with Billie Joe, Tom, Mike.. it's up there! See it? I made that myself! Took awhile too.

Anyway, tonight is my last night before I go back to working Del Taco from Monday - Friday for about 5 hours. Today, I played my bass! I haven't done that in about 3 months (played it at home) because it's been at Hector's house for band practice. Now that Acidtone is falling apart, I decided to bring Blue (my bass) home with me. The strings on my bass were the newest ones I had, but it sounded so shitty. I decided to put on an old set I had before, and for some fucked up reason, it sounded so much better. It had more of a plucky sound to it, then just a heavy .. empty, *bump* to it. Wow, explaining how instruments sound is kind of funny.
I'm still debating weather or not I should miss work on Tuesday, so I can go down to Van Nuys, and re-establish my membership in the Tuesday Boys. But if I were to miss Tuesday, I lose out on about $30, which sort of sucks. Does 2 and a half hours (or more) really mean so much, that I'd literally spend $30 of my Del Taco money, before I even got it? We'll see what happens.

Speaking of money, Washington Mutual still hasn't sent me my 2 ATM cards that I had sent to me about 3 weeks ago (going on a month I guess). They said it takes about 7-8 business days, but 3 weeks? Come on! I'm probably going to call up my banker guy "Jack" I think his name was, and ask him what the hell is up, and to see if I can have him send 2 more, and cancel the 2 that were sent out. But, when I finally get those, I have the perfect pin code! It will be - ... wait, maybe I shouldn't tell you. Anyway, I'm half temped to unhook the PS2 from the living room, and bring it into here, and play until 3am, and then go to bed. That's all for tonight. Cya.

Friday, I spent with Sabrina. We went out to see the the movie Swimfan. It was about this guy who cheated on his girlfriend, and the girl he slept with, ended up being a psycho bitch, and went all out. It was sort of an interesting movie, but then again, it was pretty corny too. After that, we sat around and then decided to eat at Islands. We shared a burger, and fries, and then called her mom to come pick us up. All in all, the night was great because I got out, and I needed that. Being stuck at home sucks, and doing nothing but working, comming home, sleeping, working, over and over, gets dull.
Well, yesterday (Saturday) was an interesting day too. What was suppose to be band practice for Acidtone, ended up being band practice for another one! I called Jaime, and asked him what was he doing today, and he said he was going to be practicing with another band. So we talked, and he ended up saying he thinks I should play bass for them. So he ends up giving me shitty directions, and tells me to be there sometime soon. So I go with Sabrina and we end up getting to where we thought we should be, but we were a whole street off. We stopped at this house thinking it was the one that Jaime was talking about, but when we knocked, we found out it wasn't. No one there spoke English, except for this mexican teenager who looked like a gangster. We asked if he knew were Rhea street was, and he said, "No, but do you guys happen to smoke weed?" I was then disgusted, and left. Anyway, we found the house we were looking for soon after that.
From what I know, the drummer from Acidtone (Jaime) is talking about leaving Acidtone. So, if this happends, I'm not sure if we'll even make it to the Cobalt Cafe. Anyway, we're gunna try to make it there, and then if the band is gunna break up, it will happen. As for this other band, it consists of Jason (lead guitar), Steven (backup/crazy riffs) Jaime (drums) myself (bass), and for vocals? Who else but Hector himself! (The vocalist from Acidtone). Now I know you're all thinking "You gotta be joking!" But it's true. From what I heard, Hector changed his singing style, and that he's gotten better. No more screaming like his old Acidtone style. As for the band, It's got nothing but a metal sound to it... which is new for me, because all I do is play punky stuff. But they all like me, and they all think my bassing is good (Including Jason's dad). So, I guess this means that I'm gunna be playing for them. We're not sure what to be called yet... Jason's thinking about calling us "Reseda Blvd" which sounds kind of shitty, but I'm sure something else will come along... so keep an eye out for us. I promise you, you guys will think it's better then Acidtone (even though Acidtone isn't that bad!) Anyway, That's pretty much what happend today.

Well, this site is finally complete. It took me about a week to get everything up and running. I'm pretty tired. I went though everything to make sure it all works, and from what I know, it all does. If pictures dont show up, or have a red "x" just refresh the page, and it should work.
I've made about 3 web pages in my life, this being the 3rd. Since I have nothing else better do then work at Del Taco, sit at home, and play guitar, I'm most likely gunna keep this site updated about... my life I guess. Well, going on a bit of a tangent here, I saw/met (or re-met) 2 different actors at Del Taco. On Wednesday, Danny Cooksey
who's mostly known for playing Bobby Budnick from Nickelodeon’s Salute Your Shorts, or "Tim" from Terminator 2. stopped by at Del Taco. The funny part, is that I first ran into him at Vons a few years ago, then at the mall a few months after that. Little did I know, years later I'd run into him yet once again at my Del Taco job. He's still pretty short, and his facial hair makes him look dirty.
The other actor I saw, was Paul Schrier
who played "Bulk" from the infamous Fox TV show The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers one of my old favorite shows (as well as everyone else pretty much). When I first saw him, I didn't realize who he was. A few milliseconds later I looked up him and said, "Bulk!" and he quickly corrected me and said, "It's Paaaaul! Paul." I then felt kind of stupid, but then, he asked me what my name was, and why us Del Taco employees didn't have any name tags. Well, anyway, before he left, he made sure to grab my attention, and call out my name while he was refilling his soda. We both said goodbye, and that was it. Umm.. oh yeah, SIGN MY GUESTBOOK! Thanks.
