    4010 S has three motors, 1 capstan and 2 for the reels.
  • All drive mechanisms are controlled electrically,
     no idler-wheels or gears.


  •  A tape can even be reversed in the fast mode
     of operation without first stopping the tape.


  • The control system is completely solenoid operated
     which allows a smooth tape travel.
