This is one of Tascam's many reliable models of the pro-series.
2-track with speed: 7-1/2 and 15.
Solenoid operated pinch-roller.
New drive-belt 
and pinch-roller installed.




Features:
  • (1)Reel-switch, when large reels 10-1/2 are used,
    greater back tension and torque must be set correctly.


  • (2)Speed switch: 7-1/2 and 15.


  • (3)Edit switch.


  • (4)Pitch-control: 12% + / -
    Can be used both in record or playback mode,
    to increase or decrease speed.


  • (5)Cue lever: To find a certain part
     of your recording for editing.


  • (6)Headphone volume control.


  • (7)Input selections: Att / Mic / Line
    Att discards 20 dB of the signal, when microphones are used.
    Line is signal thru the RCA input L+R.


  • (8)Function L+R : Recording On/Off for each channel.


  • (9)Output select:
    Select which of the three possible sources
    to feed the output RCA jacks and VU-meter circuit.
    The LED above shows selection.
    INPUT: Meter reads line input signal to recorder.
    Tape signal will not be heard>
    SYNC: Used for all normal operations
    meter reads input or head 2 play output
    depending on setting of function buttons (L+R)
    REPRO: Selects head nr3.
    Meter now reads tape playback.
    Used for check performance record/play monitoring of the tape.


  • (10)Input level control for L + R channel.
    Both for mic or line adjusting.
    Each channel can be adjusted independently.


  • (11) Output level control for adjusting the L+R RCA output.
