This is Spirit Splash. It is ranked the best college tradition in Florida. The friday before the Homecoming football game, students jump into the reflection pond in front of the school and play around. The football team, band, cheerleaders, dance teams and Nitro the mascot are all out there. Free shirts and beads, and balls and other spirit things are thrown out into the crowd.
