40 METER EXTENDED DOUBLE ZEPP

Covers 10 thru 160 meters with use of a tuner

IS A SLIGHT COMPROMISE ON 160, BUT I"VE WORKED OUT TO 1000 MILES WITH MINE !

IF YOU CAN PUT UP ONLY ONE ANTENNA, THIS MAY BE WHAT YOU NEED

This is the main antenna I use at the home shack. With a good tuner, it will work all bands 10 thru 160 meters. It's not as good as a full sized dipole on 160 meters, but it does work ! If you don't have room for a full sized dipole for 160, but have around 180' of horizontal space and some handy supports, this antenna will let you work 160 fairly well. I've worked stations out to around 1000 miles with mine and 100 watts or less ! And mine is suspended 35' at the center from a side arm on a small tower, and the ends about 10' off the ground. Go ahead, tell them "antenna here is a zepp".
