My Electronic Perkasa

Picture 1My intensions for this boat is to rebuild a 10year rundown a somewhat damaged old .46 glo powered Perkasa and turn it into a scale performance eletronic powered Boat. without going overboard with cluttering the vessel. This is the rebuilt hull with a new deck.
Picture 2 Here is another photo including the Transmitter I that I intend to use. It is just a 2ch at the moment, rudder and power.
Picture 3 Just another view. The next step will be installing the motor, It will be a 12 - 24volt Johnson 985. Just smaller than 2 x 540's. the motor amps peak at 12.6amp's on start up and then runs full power at approx 8.5amp's so a 12volt 7amph battery will be more then enough, lasting about 45-50 minutes at full power out of the water. Istill need to do the test under load.

<Image hosted by Photobucket.comThis is a simple push pull rudder set upImage hosted by Photobucket.comOut with the old and in with the new. The old cabin was hit with a large 4 wheeled moving object so I had to make a new one, this inspired me to rebuild the whole boat with a few modifications to the apperance of the vessel, It also looks cleaner and newer <Image hosted by Photobucket.com<Image hosted by Photobucket.com<Image hosted by Photobucket.comA little Zodiac.<Image hosted by Photobucket.com<Image hosted by Photobucket.com <Image hosted by Photobucket.com<Image hosted by Photobucket.com<Image hosted by Photobucket.com<Image hosted by Photobucket.com<Image hosted by Photobucket.com
