My interests and hobbies

Here I tell you the truth about myself

Usually, people like to play sports and watch movies, but me, i dont,

my hobbies are far different from others,

• Electronics : Anything working with electricity.

The most interesting thing to me is to see an electronic card even burned.

I fall in love with any electronic circuit. I feel sorry for any broken device.

I love the smell of the soldering materials when melt and freeze to fix a component. I like the pain of my feet when it was burned because i passed over a hot soldering heater on the floor..

I spent more than 10 years collecting knowledge (burning transistors) and getting experience (destroy my clothes and hands from Nitric acid) of how to assemble and design electronic circuits. I have spend too much money for collecting electronic circuits, buy the required IC's or transistors that will be burn because of miss connection.

Now ,i have reached the point of design and assemble digital circuits.

• Computer : Hardware, software and users...

When i feel completely exhausted from electronics, I skip thinking in circuits for one month. At this time, I return to my second interest (Computer).

Computer attracts me too much, I start this desease from 20 years ago, i bough a "Commodore 64" machine. if you know this, it's a basic machine with 64 kb ram. i was completely attracted (attached) by this machine. From this i learn how to write program in Basic (for the 1st time). i have finished all the capability of this computer by one graphic project that design the "SPRITES" in a grid net and do all kind of image processing. I made a code of 64000 lines (max permitted lines in C64). From that i got a high programming experience which maintain me going very fast in Fortran thereafter. (Thanks for my father who bough to me this machine)

In University, i have shifted to Fortran programming. I have passed long steps in Fortran from that time, F77, MS Fortran, Watfor, Workstation and finally, Digital Visual Fortran.

 Finally, i have several softwares that i have written during my research in Seismology, these are provided here.

• Geophysics and Seismology

This is my job, my hobby and where i get money.

I use my experience in electronics and programming to help in seismology.

in geophysics:

I have experience in data acquisition, vertical seismic profiling, electricity, thermal conductivity and others.

in seismology:

Site selection, Seismic station setting, Soil amplification, microtremors, source parameter determination, wavefrom analysis, waveform modelling, seismic tomography and others...

 my dreams in seismology in unlimited .......................................................................................

I have many other hobbies but i hope one day i have time to perform.
